There was a girl. She would often come into the small corner bread shop that I worked at, her head down, staring blankly at the ground. She was wearing a black over coat and she often had the hood up making it impossible to see her face. She would walk in, avoiding any human contact and head straight towards the water fountain. She would get a drink and then leave.

She did it everyday, never asking for food, only the water. I gave her a water bottle one day, telling her that she could keep it and that having it would save her a trip to the store. She said nothing as she removed her hood, revealing her face.

She was pretty, beautiful even. She had black hair, it was greasy and fell down to her chin, but that was okay, I had assumed that she was homeless. I was right. I didn't have to say anything as I stepped to the side. I waved me arm out, beckoning her toward me. She hesitated for a moment as if trying to decide if I was a rapist or something before shrugging her shoulders and walking past me. She sat down against the wall behind me as I worked the cash register.

She had slept through the rest of my shift and when it was time for me to close the store, I had tried to wake her up, but she much have forgotten that I was a would be friend because she screamed and slapped me in the face. It didn't make me mad, she began to apologize two seconds after she had done it. Plus, she really was too cute to be mad at.

I took her home with me that night. Sora and Ven had jumped right on her when she had told us her name.

Xion, her name was Xion and she had run away from home. My mother had half a mind to get the police involved, but she begged Xion had bursted into tears and begged her not to.

She didn't.

Somewhere along the way, she had started living with us, sleeping in mom's room with her and using our mother's bathroom. To Sora and Ven, she had become like a sister to them, but to she had me falling head of heals for her.

And I doubt that I, Roxas, will ever stop dancing circles around her.
