"When you close your eyes... you'll know." A pause. A scream.
"That's you." A look of terror was upon Silver's face as he said these words. "Your voice... I couldn't mistake it. But..." Silver looked down to the ground solemnly. "What was the scream for?"
"I don't know. I got this call 2 nights ago, and I still haven't figured it out." Blaze pushed a few buttons on her cell phone, navigating through the menus to the call log. "And look at the sender..." Silver gasped as Blaze held the screen up to his eyes, and he recognized the number instantly. It was Blaze's. He scanned through the rest of the information as if he could somehow find an explanation for the origin of the call. Looking at the time that the call was received, he realized it was 9:34 PM, June 1st. Blaze saw the look of confusion on Silver's face. "It's 9:33 right now." Silver only looked more confused.
"Are you saying something is going to happen? Blaze, do you think-"
"Shhhhh." Blaze quieted him. "If it does, I don't want you to see it. Close your eyes." Blaze saw that Silver was about to ask another question she wouldn't have time for. "It's not important now. When you close your eyes... you'll know."
Silver obliged. A pause. A scream. Blaze's scream. A scream that was cut short when her head was finished separating from her body. A scream that she couldn't have possibly let out with the huge red jawbreaker that was now in her mouth.
