She watched the man she loved change before her eyes. Becoming someone she didn't recognize.
No longer was he a beautiful star. No longer was he the one she came to love. No longer enigmatic. But, a clone. He conformed to popular belief. Something he promised he wouldn't become.
Hulk Hogan change him.
"Jeff, what have you become?" Harley asked herself. Staring at the moniter in the backstage area of imPACT.
"A monster." Matt Hardy replied to her question. He too was shocked at what his younger brother was doing.
"No, not a monster. A confused and eradicated person, he doesn't want people to forget him." The blue haired woman whispered, a tear making it's way down her tan skin.
The show went off air, and Jeff made his way backstage. Towards his irate brother, and bemused girlfriend.
"What is your damaged this time Jeffro?" Matt asked when he came into hearing distance.
"I'm doing myself a favor. Becoming better, and memorable," He replied, looking over at Harley who had yet to say anything to him.
"You're going to lose everyone." The eldest Hardy snapped and walked away before he decked his brother in his face, and got arrested for it.
Harely Delacour stared at her boyfriend or 12 years, thinking about what she was going to say.
"You are memorable, without Hulk and Eric. All you have to be is yourself, and people are going to remember you. No matter what you do," She explained to him quietly. Her dark eyes meeting his bright green ones.
"How do you know? I'm a fuck up. And you know it." Jeff retaliated, a grim look on his face.
"Only you think that. You've had your ups and downs. But, what you seem to forget is, I stayed by your side through it all. And if this is the path you want to take, then let my 90 days get done, and I'll be right there again. By your side." The beautiful blue haired girl finished, hoping to get through to the stubborn man.
"No matter what?"
"No matter what. As long as you don't screw me over." She confirmed.
"I promise." He smiled.
