This popped in my head earlier, so I thought I'd write it down. Enjoy. As always please read and review!
For the fourth day in a row, there had been nothing but rain, rain, and more rain. The ninja, since they couldn't find anything else to do, we're watching a movie.
Flash! Bang!
The room the ninja were in blackened.
"What just happened?" Lloyd asked.
"The power's out Green Bean," Cole snorted.
"Now we can't do even finish the movie," Zane sighed.
The six sat in the dark not really saying much of anything. Then Jay got an idea, " Kai, light some candles. I've got an idea."
Jay ran out of the room. Nya, Kai, Zane, Cole, and Lloyd exchanged glances. What was the blue ninja plotting this time?
By the time Jay returned with a bag of marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate, and a package of spaghetti, Kai had faithfully lit every candle he could find.
"Great. Now we can make s'mores," Jay smiled. He stuck a marshmallow onto a spaghetti noodle and began toasting it over a candle. The other followed suite. Even though there was a storm raging outside, they were still doing a classic outdoor activity. They had even forgotten about the unfinished movie. There would be other times for that.
