Hoshidan Festival
It's a colorful sunset, most of the sky is already dark and there are many stars out this evening. There is a warm glow throughout the whole Hoshidan capital. There is also the smell of many different foods. It's the night of a special Festival that happens once a year. Many stands are lined up along the streets, lanterns hung all about, and the delicate aroma still fills the air.
A white haired man with red eyes walks through the crowded streets of his birth city. The city where his mother once ruled. He smiles seeing how peaceful this whole city is compared to not long ago. The sadness and despair on everyone's face replaced with smiling and laughing expressions.
The man walks a bit further into town and he notices a familiar figure. A slender maiden, with sky blue hair wearing a pure white dress with blue sashes on it, her back faced towards the man. The woman turns around, her expression changing at the sight of the man. "Kamui!" she exclaims. "Aqua!" Kamui smiles. The two walk towards each other. They look at each other, the man a bit taller than the woman. Breaking the silence, "So you've come to the festival as well Aqua. Would you like to join me?" Kamui asks. "Oh, Of course. I would be delighted to, Kamui." Aqua exclaims, seeming a bit relieved. "Alright, let's go." Kamui smiles.
Kamui and Aqua begin to walk throughout the festival, taking in the sights, both relieved that everyone in town appears to be enjoying themselves. "Hey Aqua?" Kamui asks. Aqua replies curiously "Yes?"
"How have you been doing?" Kamui questions. Aqua's facial expression gets a bit more serious. "I've been doing well, I'm glad we finally have a chance to lay back and relax, back then was really stressful. But everything is better now. Have you been doing better as well?" Aqua replies concerned. "Yes, I've been feeling a lot better. Everything has quieted down. I'm happy as well." Kamui says with a hopeful look on his face. "That's good, I have been really worried about how you have been holding up. I was worried that you were being put under too much stress. Sorry, I couldn't help but ask. So I feel a bit more at ease now." Aqua states. "Yeah I'm doing fine. Thank you for worrying about me Aqua." Kamui smiles. Kamui notices that Aqua still appears to be worried.
"Hey Aqua, would you like to go get something to eat?" Kamui asks. Aqua's face brightens again as she smiles "Sure I would love too."
Kamui and Aqua head to a food stand, both walk away with a bowl of noodles in hand and smiles on their faces. They go find a place to eat. "This smells wonderful!" Aqua says cheerfully, "It does" Kamui replies.
After eating Kamui and Aqua talk a bit more, after a while Aqua asks a question "Hey Kamui, Will we be able to spend more time together?" Aqua says with a somewhat embarrassed expression on her face.
This takes Kamui by surprise, He takes a moment to think about what Aqua asked him. After a moment he speaks, "Of course Aqua, I love spending time with you. I wouldn't trade that for anything."
Aqua gets a gleeful expression on her face. "Oh Kamui! Thank you!"
The two smile at each other.
"Come on, Kamui. Let's go see more of the festival." Aqua exclaims, "Okay" Kamui replies.
The two take each other's hands and walk through the festival together.
