No matter the horrible crimes he's committed, Sango Can not forget Kohaku. Kohaku can not forget his sister, despite Naraku's control over him. Two poems from sibling to sibling, dedicated to Sango and Kohaku.

That Face I Can't Forget

That face…

I know that face

The mask can not hide

Those eyes

So familiar and yet

So strange

Empty

Cold

Inhuman eyes

You're not the boy

You once were

Your blade shines with

Crimson anguish

Broken bodies lay at your feet

You stare at me

But do not see me

You're dead

I watched your life fade

From your eyes as tears

Streaked down your face

As you stared at the blood

You unknowingly spilled

But now…

Here you stand before me

Beyond my reach

Wanting to remember

But too willing to forget

A puppet

Lost

I do not know

This boy you've become

But I know your face

I KNOW YOUR FACE!

And you know mine!

Why can't you wake up?

Why won't you come back?

How many people have to die

How much more power

Does your master need

Before you will remember

My face?

Don't leave me again!

I lost you once, but never again

I will free you from

His grasp of hate

You're running away

I can't bear to watch

I turn away and close my eyes

You're not who you were

But I swear I will find you

Because I know your face

That face I can't forget.
