"Oh Harold, isn't she beautiful?" Lillian cooed over her new daughter. Harold who was standing beside the bed was still trying to comprehend the magnificent sight that was before him, which had rendered him speechless. Lillian eventually looked up at Harold with a furrowed brow, "Harold, what's wrong?". "Nothing my dear, I...I am just so happy" Harold eventually managed to speak, reaching a hand towards Lillian. Lillian smiled taking Harold's hand, 'I love you' she silently mouthed at him. Harold gently kissed Lillian's hand before he absentmindedly began to stroke the baby's cheek.

The little girl had bright blue eyes like the morning sky in May, a dainty nose, rose bud lips and the most vibrant red hair, like her Father. Harold and Lillian has longed for a child since the day they married, so had discussed names on numerous occasions before the baby's arrival. "Do you still like the name we had been thinking of?" Lillian asked. "Of course! It suits her perfectly" Harold replied. Lillian smiled and faced the baby, "It most certainly does. Fiona". Fiona gurgled, a sure sign that she approved willingly of her name.

***Later on***

Lillian gently placed Fiona into her crib and tucked her in, "Good night, my little darling", kissing Fiona's rosy cheek. As she watched her daughter sleep soundly, two arms slipped around her waist. "I still can't believe she is finally here. I will never tire of this beautiful sight" Harold whispered. "Neither can I, we certainly have waited long enough. Oh my dear I feel so blessed! I married my best friend, my true love, and we now have a child" Lillian said with tears in her eyes. Harold quickly turned her around to face him and bundled her into a tight embrace. He buried his face in her yellow hair and sighed, "Oh Lily, please don't cry. I too feel so very lucky that I have my two girls in my life, and I promise from this day forward to do anything in my power to protect you both". Lillian looked up at him with her grey eyes, and before Harold could say another word, kissed him for all she was worth. Both slightly breathless from the kiss, Lillian giggled and pointed her pinkie towards Harold, "Pinkie promise me that you will never leave me, and always be here for us?". Amused, Harold too raised his pinkie, "I promise".
