Disclaimer: I DO NOT own Naruto, if I did, you would probably know.

Prologue:

Sakuras dad looked at his 8 year old daughter with his deep forest green eyes and said. "You know I love you right?"

Sakura looked up at him her Emerald eyes sparkling with unshed tears and said. "Yes papa, and I love you too."

He smiled at her. "Good" He looked over at her mom who was trying hard to not cry but had silent, stray tears running down her face, and then to his 3 year old daughter that surprisingly knew the severity of the situation and was crying into her mothers shoulder. He then turned back to Sakura, who by now had a few tears running down her cheeks. He wiped them away and told her "Don't cry. You need to stay strong for me, your mother and for your sister; Hanna. And you need to be the one to look after them while I'm gone"

"Yes papa. But why me? Why not mom? Isn't she supposed to take care of us?"

"Yes my little Sakura, but your mother is a sensitive women, and she will most likely grieve while I'm gone. So you need to promise me that you will take care of them for me while I'm gone."

Taking a deep breath and wiping away all of her tears, she gave him a small but determined smile and said. "Yes Papa, I promise you that I will take care of them, no matter what. You will be proud of me."

He chuckled and ruffled her pastel pink locks. "I already am my little Sakura. I'm always proud of you." Then he kissed her on the forehead and turned and walked to her mother and little sister, whispered comforting words to them. Gave her little sister a kiss on the cheek and a big hug, then he embraced her mom and gave her one last kiss before he turned around and walked away, leaving them forever, and not looking back.
