DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN ANYTHING

I was working in the café when the tragic news was brought to me. The rain was pouring that day, gloomy clouds had engulfed the sky and there was hardly any sunshine. My cell rang, and I answered,

"Hello, this Sabina Pleasure, whose speaking?"

"Hi, this is the Cari's Cemetery. I am here to inform you that a close friend of yours had just recently passed away. His name was Alex Rider and his accident happened two hours ago in a clashing car crash. His funeral will be held tomorrow at 3pm. Thank you for your time, bye."

My heart literally stopped beating at that moment. The shock was too much to endure. I stood there like time had failed to move, I didn't know how to react, just then, conscious and realization hit came back to me, I loved you, my dear Alex, why did you have to die? Tears blurred my vision as they violently sauntered down my cheeks. I went over to one of the tables and sat down. All the memories that Alex and I shared rushed back to me. The first time we met, our walk down the beach, our first kiss, and even the most painful of all, the day we departed. I cried uncontrollably for a long time. It seemed like nothing mattered anymore, my only love was dead, and there was no reason for me to live. Tomorrow, I will go Alex's funeral, and there beside his tomb may my life depart.
