Shun sighed and stared up at the full moon, his arm rested heavily on his knee as he mulled over his life to this point and as usual his thoughts turned to him.

Dan, I wish I could tell you, but I don't want to risk our friendship.

Skyress watched silently inwardly debating whether to tell him or not, as she watched the intense sadness portrayed through his eyes that no-one his age should have, Shun as if sensing her inner conflict turned to her eyebrow raised.

"Is something wrong, Skyress?"

She sighed letting her own thoughts drift to the one who put him in such a state, and she made up her mind.

"You must tell him"

His body went ridged as he glared down at her his brown eyes filled with untold anger and a growl erupted from his throat.

"And what appear on Dan's doorstep and tell him I love him, he's not gay!"

Skyress just sighed before turning into ball form and rolling off leaving him to cool down, he needed time.

"Is that true?"

Shun's blood ran cold at the familiar voice coming from below him, he turned his eye downward and there standing below him was Dan, his eyes filled with an unreadable emotion.

Shun sighed and slid off the roof, landing solidly on his feet in front of Dan, his head turned to the ground no wanting to see the rejection and hate in his crushes eyes.

"Go ahead and hate me for it it wont change my feelings!"

Dan chuckled and advanced on Shun, backing him into a corner he whispered in his ear, sending shiver down Shun's spine.

"What makes you think I don't like you too, hmmm"

His voice was barely above a whisper but Shun heard it as clear as if he had yelled it, Dan liked him.

He flipped Dan around, his lips molded on Dan's in a deep kiss.

They drew back, eyes hazy and half lided Dan smiled at him and for a fleeting moment he wondered where Drago his so called ultimate bakugan was, but it passed as soon as it came.

"Shun, come back with me"

He was too far in to say no, and so that night Dan and Shun went back.

"So how did you do it?" Runo's voice was sly and Dan blushed slightly as Shun pulled him into his lap as smirk on his face.

"Who could say no to this?"

A silence rang through the air broken only by Runo's daring laugh.

"Yeah right!"

Shun and Dan twitched, and Julie just decided to back out of the room.

"Runo..."

"Yeah?"

"Shut up"
