The Wicked Cauldron: A Chick Tract
This is a story about our favourite wizard Harry Potter. You know the story of how he defeated Lord Voldemort but do you know the story of how Harry defeated Satan by accepting Jesus Christ as his personal savour? It seems unimaginable that the famous Harry Potter almost went to hell. Good deeds won't let you obtain the keys to heaven and to God's heart. The only way to ender the holy kingdom is to accept the Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and by believing in him we can gain eternal life. "Snape's classes are the same," said Hermione, "he always teaches the same thing. Should we just skive and do something else, like taking drugs."
"But don't we have an important test?" Ron said with shock. "Snape said if we didn't not turn up then we would fail our entire course. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't be a wizard."
"Don't sorry," Hermione said touching his pants, "I could show you other things. Plus I have a time machine that can take us back in time just in case we get in trouble."
"I forgot about that," said Ron. "You're the best."
He kissed her and then they went to wagged class. The next he discovered that he had failed the test. Distrait he went to his girlfriend Hermione and asked if he could use her time machine. She got really moody and started yelling at him.
"I need to use it for something important," she said, "you can use it another day."
"But that might be too late," he said.
"Does it look like I care?" she asked.
Now Ron felt really depressed. He really wanted to become a wizard but because he didn't pass his test he would have to live his entire life as a failure. He didn't want this to happen. He tried to talk to his friend Harry Potter but he was too busy to help him. Harry like Hermione had more important things to do than to help his friend. Not knowing what to do next nor having anyone to talk to discuss what had happened, Ron desperately found the tallest tower in Hogwarts that he could find which the Astronomy Tower was. It was here that he was taught the false arts of discovering the future. It never warned Ron that this was going to happen. Before he leaped to his death, an old man grabbed him before he could jump.
"Why did you stop me from jumping?" Ron asked with disgust.
"I am saving you," the old man replied.
"Saving me?" Ron laughed. "How can someone as weak as you save me?"
"God has a plan for you and it doesn't involve committing suicide," the old man explained. "God loves you."
"How can God love me?" Ron asked.
"Because he gave his only begotten son to be nailed to the cross therefore spilling his hold precious blood," the old man clarified (see John 3:16).
"Why did he have to do that?" Ron asked.
"Because we have all committed sins and the only way to God is through Jesus," the old man answered (see Romans 3:10 and 3:23).
"So how do I receive God?" Ron also asked.
"To be save you must drop down and pray to God and confess you are a sinner," the old man explained. "You must believe that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Only then you will enter the kingdom of heaven."
"Wow that is so easy," said Ron. And so he did just that. And from that day on his became Christian. He gave up witchcraft and follow the teachings of Jesus. And when he died he was able to ender God's kingdom.
