Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter!

A/N: I've always thought that the Weasley's lives would change very much after DH, not only for the bad but for the good too so here's an example of the good!

The bells were ringing outside the ministry of magic. The crowd had gathered around. Photographers were stationed all around the ceremony. Today was the official five year term inauguration of Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and Vice Minister of Magic, Arthur Weasley.

Lined up in the atrium of the Ministry Kingsley stood in his dark navy robes with his wife, Tahari Shacklebolt next to him. Her dark bob and cream tweed dress suit was sure to get her on Witch Weekly's Best Dressed List of 1998. Arthur stood to the left of Kingsley dressed in a luxurious set of dark black robes, while Molly stood by his side in a plum colored sheath dress that complimented her curvy figure perfectly.

They hadn't even been sworn into office yet but, the public already believed they were going to be the best thing that ever happened to the ministry.

Minister Shacklebolt said his speech to a loud applause followed by Vice Minister Weasley's speech about reconstruction of the government that was getting equal praise. All in all it was a long day. The first of many long days for Arthur as Vice Minister, yes, the days were sure to be long.

At the Inaugural Ball he watched as Bill danced gracefully with Fleur, while Charlie chatted up a young woman by the orchestra, he saw George smile again for the first time in months dancing with Angelina, seeing Ron finally holding Hermione's hand, and of course seeing Ginny, his baby girl, dancing, more like swaying, in the arms of Harry Potter. His heart broke and glowed all at the same time.

Walking over to his wife who had been talking animatedly with Tahari asked "Mrs. Weasley, may I have this dance?"

"Oh Arthur!" she said, sounding like a fifteen year old girl again as he led her out to the middle of the dance floor.

A muggle song started especially for Arthur.

As the song started everyone else stopped dancing, except Molly and Arthur.

In that moment, he remembered their wedding, even though their family had changed, their world had changed, time had gone by, the love was still the same.

Whether he was the head of Misuse of Muggle Artifacts or the Vice Minister of Magic, she had been there, they had a family. No matter what happened to that family they would always be together.

Near, Far, Wherever they were, their hearts would always go on.

Fin.
