Summary- what happens when Hiro jumps through time and space, but accidentally lands in the TARDIS instead? R&R please!
XXX-Chapter 1-XXX
Hiro closed his eyes and imagined himself two days into the past, so he wouldn't miss an important date with his new girlfriend, but unfortunately this is what happened instead...
-WHOMP-
Hiro landed, but it wasn't right. Surrounding him were tall walls and in beautiful colors, a main control system at the center of it. A tall, lanky man was bustling around, tugging at this lever and loosening that pulley or switch.
"Um…Konnichi wa" Hiro said to the man.
The man looked up, his brown hair now sticking off of his head as if been shocked, " 'Ello. I'm the Doctor. And you are?"
"My name's Hiro" Hiro said and gave a slight bow, "What kind of a name is 'The Doctor'?"
The Doctor squared his thin shoulders, " Oh, just my name. Now the fantastic question is how and why are you here."
"I don't really know. You see I can travel through space and time…."Hiro began saying.
"Really?" the Doctor interrupted.
Hiro nodded and continued. " and I was planning on jumping back two days from present time, but instead I ended up here." Hiro held his arms out and waved them at the TARDIS.
The Doctor clicked his tongue and said, "Weeelll, I could drop you off" he offered.
Hiro smiled and bowed, "Oh, thank you ,Doctor. That would be most helpful."
The Doctor raised his eyebrows, but instead of saying anything, went back to the controls. Soon the pillar in the middle of the machine was moving up and down and a whrr whrr whrr whrr sound was heard. Presumably the engine, Hiro thought to himself. The TARDIS started to jolt around. Hiro grabbed the nearest thing to him and hung on for dear life.
Finally the whrring stopped along with the jolts.
" Ah! 'Ere we are!" the Doctor said while flashing his large teeth.
Hiro let go of the metal bar and with slightly wobbly legs tried to make it to the door.
The Doctor laughed, " Yes, first time in the TARDIS is always the worst."
"TARDIS?" Hiro asked, his hand paused on the doorknob.
The Doctor shrugged and quoted, " Time And Relative Dimension In Space."
"Wow" Hiro exclaimed, "Um..thank you for the lift." Hiro smiled.
"No problem." The Doctor said back, "but next time try not running into me."
Hiro nodded vigorously, "Hai, don't worry about that. I'll stay out of your way"
The Doctor waved goodbye and said, " 'Cya 'round."
Hiro waved back, then opened the door, and closed it just in time to hear the whrr whrr whrr start up again and stop quickly when the TARDIS was no longer there.
