Chapter 1
One morning Sara Braverman walks into the diner with her 3 kid's 16 year old Amber Holt,14 year old Drew Holt and 13 year old Rory Holt.
''take a seat guy's I'll be right back.'' Sara tells her kid's and goes up to the counter
''what can I get you?'' a man in a plaid shirt and baseball cap asks her
''um 4 coffee's please.'' she tells him
''coming up.'' he says
''thanks.'' she says
''so um all those kid's your's?'' he asks her
''yes they are.'' she tells him with a smile
''oh and who are you?'' he asksher
''oh I'm Sara Braverman and those are my 3 kid's Amber Holt she's 16,Drew Holt he's 14, and Rory Holt she's 13.'' she tells him
''oh.'' he says
''yea I just got out of a really bad divorce with my now estranged ex husband in Fresno California.'' she tells him
''why are your kid's last name Holt and your's is Braverman?'' he asks her
''oh because I never took my ex-husband's last name and wanted to remain a Braverman.'' she tells him
''oh.'' he says
''so what's your name?'' she asks him
''oh Luke Danes.'' he introduces himself
''oh well it's very nice to meet you Luke Danes.'' she tells him
''same are your 4 coffee's.'' he tells her
''oh great thanks.'' she says and turns to face Rory
''hey Rory come help me a sec.'' Sara tells her
''okay.'' Rory says and gets up and brings 2 coffee cups over to the table while Sara get's the other 2 and sits down with them
''so Mom who was that you two seemed awfully friendly.'' Amber tells her with a smile
