Prologue
"NOOOO!"
Blood was scattered all over the room.
"NOOOOOO!"
I could hear his screams as they rang across the room, they pierced my ears and in my skin I could feel everything, as if it were happening to me.
"LEAVE HIM ALONEE!"
T-that's when the worst began, I couldn't bear to look.
"P-Please take me instead.."
Stop. No. I can't.
"RUN AWAY LUCY! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE!"
'Run.. Run... Run Faster..' That was all I think of at the time, there was no way out.. no where to run, at least not in these streets. He was catching up to me. But I remember clearly, the brick walls were painted with gloom, the sky was starless, moonless to say, covered in clouds that forbade any light to touch the ground, the pavement floor was drenched with a few puddles here and there. I couldn't turn back, there was no way I would. He remained there in that alley and all I could do was run as the love of my life was beaten to death, not by mere people, but monsters who believed in nothing social standings. There was nothing I could do but Run..
That day it was decided that; I would never return to those streets never in my life.. all they do is remind me of him.. g, the kisses, the adventures, the thrill, but most importantly my love for him.
There is not much to say about that day, but what I can say is that I, Lucy Heartfilia will never be the same again after that day. Not once did I think that I would ever have to return to these streets, it wasn't for my sake, but for his.
After all this time I still love him, just as I did the day I met him.
