Charlie Brown sat on his brown chair watching Television. On the TV it was showing how the war Vietnam was getting bigger and they needed more soldiers. Charlie Brown was 19 and there was a family reunion and everyone of his friends were invited including Lucy, Linus, Peppermint Patty, and other people from school. After all these years Charlie brown still hadn't had a girlfriend. He hadn't even seen the little red head girl. Suddenly the doorbell ran.

"Sally will you get that!?" Charlie Brown yelled while still watching the TV.

Sally didn't respond but got up from eating and went to get to the door. There was a man on the sidewalk...his army uniform stood out like a green plant even though it was camouflage.

"Who are you?" Sally asked.

"I've come to get Charlie Brown." The army man responded.

"Uh...hang on." Sally replied.

Sally ran to Charlie who was still watching TV.

"Big brother there's an army man to see you." Sally explained.

All Charlie did was still sitting and watch TV. He had been depressed at the fact that he had lost his very good puppy Snoopy at the age 16. Woodstock died a year later after Snoopy. The last year of Woodstock's life was really depressing for him because he lost his good friend Snoopy who had been with him his entire life.

"Alright Sally." Charlie began as he got up from his brown chair.

Charlie thought it was Linus who sneaked into the army to go fight in Vietnam a year ago. To Charlie's disappointment it wasn't Linus.

"What do you want?" Charlie asked as he stuck his head out the door.

"Your friend Linus has been captured and we need you to come and help us through the terrain of North Vietnam." The army man responded.

Charlie looked sad. Nothing else in his life could make it worse then it already was. The army man was still looking at him waiting for a answer.

"Well?" The army man asked

Flashback

Charlie was at the army base with his friend Linus and he was trying to sneak him into vietnam since Linus really wanted to go fight.

"Age?" The officer asked.

"21." Linus answered back.

"PaperWork?" the officer responded.

Linus gave him his paperwork that he had all filled out. The application read that he was eligable to go. Linus had gotten this done by someone he knew from vietnam.

"You'll be on a plane in the morning." The officer then began as he finished looking at the paperwork.

Charlie was surprised that his friend got in. Woodstock was with him and suddenly someone shot at Woodstock and he fell to the ground. Linus and Charlie looked at who shot Woodstock. It was a North Vietnam soldier who snuck into the army base 2 years ago. Linus was really upset that his friends bird had been shot.

"NO!" Charlie yelled.

Linus's eyes had flames in them. He grabbed the officers pistol out of the holster and shot the North Vietnam soldier in furry. The North Vietnam soldier dropped to the floor.

"Maybe we should have you go right now." The officer then began startled.

Flashback ends

"I'll do it." Charlie answered.

Charlie said goodbye to sally and got in the hummer to go off to the airplane.
