"I know, Emmett," Rosalie exclaims. "But he could show a little respect, couldn't he? I mean, he's always sitting with her at lunch, in her home, in her bed . . . He's home for what, an hour at a stretch?"
"So why do you, of all people, care?"
"He's being ungrateful!"
"He's finally found his mate, Rosalie," Carlisle murmurs soothingly. "After all these years, he has someone to call his own. To live for."
"That doesn't mean he should ignore his family."
