The Hero of Time fell to his knees outside the forest temple. Shocks still surged through his body from the evil phantom he had just beaten. He had drunk the last of his red potion, and he was still so beaten up. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and heaved a deep sigh.
He looked around, no one was near. He couldn't move anymore, every motion felt like another electric shock from that spear. He couldn't die, this couldn't be the end. Everyone was counting on him, Zelda was counting on him. This was mearly the first temple, how could he deal with the others in the condition?
Was this how it was meant to be? For him to die this early and for evil to run Hyrule? No...it couldn't be. Zelda believed in him, he couldn't let her down.
Then, everything started to go black. Oh no, it was happening. He tried to fight it but he just couldn't bear. He fell to the ground and closed his eyes. But just before they closed, he heard a girl scream, "No!".
Suddenly all his pain was gone. He felt as if there were no problems in the world. He stood up over his body, he bent down to touch it but his hand went right through it. "Link!" He turned around and saw Zelda running towards him. She ran right through him and knelt down by his body. "Oh no...Link...no...".
She cried into his chest. "I'm so sorry, Link." He looked over his shoulder to see a bright light growing closer. Two figures walked towards him, a man and a woman. "Son, come with us." His eyes opened wide. "Mother? Father?" The man nodded. "Your deed is done on this Earth, come with us." Link looked back behind him. Zelda still weeped into his clothes.
Link looked back to his parents. "Is there anyway I can stay?" They looked at each other. "If you wish, yes." "How?" His mother spoke, "Are you sure? You can be so happy with us, you could be free of all pain and suffering and responsibilities." "But..." He nodded to Zelda. "I have great responsibilities here, and happiness." "You are in love." "...Yes."
Zelda lifted her head and put her hand on his cheek. "Please...don't leave me. The world needs you...I need you." She sniffed. "I love you...so much Link. Please, come back. I know, it's selfish of me to ask so much of you...but please..." She shouted to the sky a prayer in ancient Hylian language. She smoothed the hair out of his face.
"I need to return. It's not my time yet." "We understand." They turned and walked back into the light and it faded away. Link looked at his hand the triforce symbol of Courage glowed. He look back to Zelda, on her hand glowed the Triforce symbol of Wisdom.
Tears fell off her cheeks. She leaned closer and kissed the Hero's lips. The symbol of Courage glowed on his body's hand, a gust of wind and he was in pain again, but he felt warm lips against his. He opened his eyes and Zelda was no longer there. Standing behind him was Shiek, using a Sheikah healing method on him.
"Shiek?" "Shh...don't speak." "Was...Zelda here?" "The princess? No..." He put his hand on the hero's shoulder. "You have returned...thank you." For a second Link thought he saw tears flow down the Shiekah's cheeks, but then he continued healing.
In the wind he heard Zelda's voice whisper something. "I love you, My hero...thank you..."
This is what I do when i get bored, this was just something I made up really quick and didn't take too long. But I still think it's sweet, don't you? Review...thx bye! :)
