Duncan was picking up Courtney for their prom. Yes they lived right around from the corner from each other. He pulled in front of her house in his old black pick-up truck. He looked nearly invisible against his truck, dressed in black dress pants and a black dress shirt. He waited for her outside. And, there she was, beautiful in a light blue dress sprinkled with sparkles.
When they got to the gym everything was so perfect, it was a dream night theme. The dj played a request, crazier by Taylor Swift.
"May I have this dance, Princess?" Duncan said to Courtney, while giving a little bow. "Yes you may, ogre." Courtney said with a smile lighting up her face

Courtney was reflecting on her time with Duncan while they danced. She never realized so much before he came. She tried to do everything, and was near failure, but he came along and changed her whole perspective.

He turned her world upside-down and she loved him for it. He brought out her bad side, once in while. She look up and was immediately lost in his icy blue eyes.

Duncan looked at Courtney while they danced. She made her life hers and no one else's; she said she could find a reason to be happy. He tried that once, wanted to how it would feel but he couldn't; she made it seem so real and easy. She showed him love, something he never believed in. but with her it was so easy to believe in.

She was the thing that made him happiest. At first it was falling but now, he jumped from that plane on purpose. He looked into her eyes and was lost in the depth of them and their pretty onyx colour.
