Got the Tee-shirt

Disclaimer: I do not own the Doctor, but I do own a TARDIS and am posting this from a planet 200 years in the future and 3 galaxies away. At least I wish I was.

This is based on a line from the series 3 episode Blink, I have had this idea for a while now but have only just got around to righting it down.

The Doctor lent his head back and let the warm sun shine on his face. Earth was such a beautiful planet, the humans were lucky to live there. He was spending a day on the planet in London, just strolling around among humans observing their daily activities, they were such an interesting race. The shopping precinct he was in was crowded with people doing their weekend shop or just browsing the many stores on their day off.

A small charity shop caught his eye. He had always loved charity shops, they were always filled with odd nick-naks, you never knew what you would find. Sparing a glance at the sign on the door requesting him to leave any dogs outside, he pushed the door open and stepped in. He was not disappointed, the walls were lined with shelves laden with an assortment of chipped ornaments, tarnished silverware, worn books and racks of old clothes.

He was studying a teapot the shape of a house and wondering whether it would replace his old one (which had broken falling of the shelf in a particularly bumpy landing) when he noticed something on one of the clothes racks. It was an ordinary navy blue tee-shirt with large white, letters on, but it was the slogan on the front which had caught his attention, it read:

The Angels Have

the Phone Box

He stared at it for a few seconds, it was unlike any slogan he had seen before yet it was strangely familiar. Wait a moment... hadn't he said those exact words on that recording he had made when he and Martha got stuck in 1969? Yes that was right, he was telling that nice girl (what was her name? Sandra?) that the weeping angels had the TARDIS.

He grinned, humans defiantly made tee-shirts with the strangest things on them. Picking up the teapot from the shelf he unhooked the tee-shirt from the rack and headed for the counter. Charity shops certainly had the most amazing stock.

Incredibly short, but I hope you enjoyed it. Please tell me what you think!
