Chapter 1
One morning Kion and his guard were doing their patrol near the baboon trees,
"ugh baboons", said Fuli. Kiara,Tiifu, and Zuri came over to them.
"Hi kiara, Tiifu, and zuri." Said Kion.
Tiifu looked sad and Zuri looked mad.
"What's wrong with Tiifu and Zuri Kiara", said Kion.
"Dad wants to see you", said Kiar.
"I didn't do it!", said Kion while everyone looked at him confused.
"What'd I do?", said Kion as Tiifu started to cry.
Kiara, Kion, Bunga, Fuli, Beshtie, Ono, Zuri, and Tiifu headed to Priderock. A huge rock where the pride and the royal family stay.
"Kion, I need to tell you something important", said Simba, Kion's dad.
"What?", said Kion.
"It's tradition for the royal family to betrothal their kin to another cub".
"What's "brothroal?", asked Kion.
"One its 'be tro th ol', two it means to marry", said Simba.
"Where are you going with this dad?", Kion asked his father.
"We have betrothed you son" Nala Kion's mom and the queen said.
"WHAT!", Kion,Bunga,Fuli,Beshtie,and Ono said in unison.
"Her name is Berkinda and she's from a pride in the grasslands", said Simba.
"Your joking please tell me your joking", Kion pleaded.
"We're not son. She is coming in two days" Nala said.
"WHY CAN'T I CHOOSE MY OWN MATE!", Kion yelled and his parents were surprised at his outburst.
"You are going to treat her like your wife and that's final" Simba growled.
Kion stormed off Priderock, while his friends caught up to him trying to calm him down. " It's ok Kion, all it is is that being betrothed to a complete stranger who's from…..the grassland he he he.", Bunga chuckled as his friends glared at him
meanly while Kiara, Tiifu, and Zuri were walking to the the waterhole.
"Hey Tiifu, are you alright?", Zuri asked.
"No, I kinda well uhhhhh.", stuttered Tiifu.
"Spit it out Tiifu", said Kiara.
"I like Kion a lot", said Tiifu.
