"Kyoko..." Sayaka called out.
The redhead turned her head, while munching on some Pocky. She raised one of her eyebrow upon realising who it was. The blunette was currently panting, because she had chased Kyoko for quite a while now. Kyoko wonders what she is here for.
"Hmm? What?" Kyoko asked.
"I... Just wanna say... T-Thanks." Sayaka blushed slightly.
"Why?" Asked Kyoko, utterly confused.
"That's because you helped me in my last battle..." Sayaka murmured.
All of a sudden, an attack came fleeing towards their direction. Kyoko was quick in realising, so she pushed Sayaka away, who was still fidgeting in embarrassment. Kyoko wasn't injured badly, but had some bruises and cuts.
"Kyoko!" Sayaka shouted worriedly.
"I'm fine. Let's fight this thing first..." Kyoko breathed unstably.
"What thin-"
A monster stood in front of them, it's face is... Creepy, smiling while the eyes are crying. It scared both girls. Sayaka decided to act first because Kyoko has been slightly hurt. Trying to hit the monster, she herself had gotten hit instead. Sayaka fell, for Kyoko to catch her.
"You okay?!" Kyoko asked panically.
Sayaka nodded. Both decided to fight the monster together now. While Sayaka was distracting it by going round it, Kyoko got ready to attack. The problem is, the monster saw through their strategy, and stab Kyoko with his sharp claws, then scratch Sayaka next. While Sayaka was still breathing, the other Magical girl isn't. Sayaka crawled to her friend's side.
"K-Kyoko..." Sayaka said weakly and teary.
It took almost all her strength, but Kyoko managed to look up at Sayaka. She tried her best the smile.
"Sayaka... Don't cry... You... Better find somewhere t..to recover and stay there..." Kyoko spit out from her bleeding mouth.
"N-No!" Sayaka protested but the Pocky-loving girl cut her off.
"Shhh... Go... I... "
"You what?"
"I..." Kyoko breathe her last breath, and continued, "I love you..."
With that, Kyoko closed her eyes, hands falling from Sayaka's cheek. Tears were falling from Sayaka's blue eyes. The monster, on the other hand, went on to destroy other locations. Sayaka, also having a deep wound, kissed Kyoko on the lips, layer down beside her and slowly drift off as well. Hoping to find Kyoko on the other side of life.
