I love All Dogs Go to Heaven to be honest. This was some weird dream I had long ago.
Charlie's 20 years were up and after a year both him and Itchy are board crazy. That is until Annabel takes them into 2008 to help someone who is related do an old friend of there's.

(Chap 1: The Grave)
"And last, but not least. I'd like to award this blue sapphire badge to Charlie Barkins, for his outstanding change, from conman to hero!" Annabel clipped the badge onto Charlie's fur.
(2 minutes later)
"Oh! Charlie, I'm board. Even getting all those badges is old. I've got so many I've had to change into a new fur." Itchy moaned.
"Yea, I know Itch… You know, there's something I've been meaning to ask you."
"What's up Charlie?"
"I've been wondering how Anne-Marie was."
"What?"
"Yea. Anne-Marie. Short, black hair, goes by the name Squeaker. She took you in after I went back here."
"Oh! Yea… She was fine. I remember she was screaming when I choked, but she's ok now. I can feel it."
"Any changes in the family?"
"Well, she has a little brother now."
Charlie chuckled. He could picture it now. Anne-Marie shouting at a younger sibling boy for stealing her hair band or something silly like that.
"So what else is new?"
"Well, they moved to England."
"What?"
"Mum's job."
"Well, ya can't have 'em all"
"Yea… I never thought I'd say this Charlie, but this place stinks worse than the alleyways when the cans are full."
"Your right Itch, but lets face it… we'll never be able to go back."
"Oh, I wouldn't say that Charles." Annabel pranced up to them.
"Oh, hi Annabel. You wish to speak with us?" Itchy asked, sitting in front of the pink whippet.
"I have an assignment for you."
"Assignment?"
"Yes Charles. I need you two to go into future England. Year 2008. There's a girl that needs your help."
"Ok, lets go." Charlie walked off, but Itchy looked puzzled. "Come on Itch."
"Wait. Why send us? Why not send the Angles from the future?"
"Who care's Itchy, lets just go."
"No. Annabel, why?"
Annabel sighed. "This girl is the billionth direct decedent from the creator of heaven and has been granted the power to look after it. But If she dies, so will heaven. And she's in grave danger. I'm… I'm afraid if you don't go then there will be no future heaven." Annabel looked close to tears. "And to make things worse Belladonna has found a way to destroy heaven. You must save that girl and bring her here before it's too late."
"Don't worry Annabel. We'll save her and heaven."
"Good luck. Here, you'll need your miracles." she handed them two Miracle Dog-tags.
And in a flask of light the duo fell back to earth.
