Being the old school sort of soldier, Natalie had disapproved of the army's selection of uniform for its distinguished women in the service. Pencil cut skirts were unpractical in their tightness, and stockings only served to heat the blood and heighten the fantasies of the many strange ones in their ranks.
The use of the uniform finally revealed itself to her one fine morning, after another night of clandestine debauchery with Murrue. The skirt was long and tight enough to snugly disguise a moderately sized vibrator between her lover's legs.
In the days to follow, Mwu would be left to puzzle over the change of pitch in Murrue's voice, and why she always looked ready to faint.
