DISCLAIMER: I DONT OWM CODE LYOKO BUT THE POEM IS MINE!

"I swear she's Chinese!" the raven haired girl heard someone whisper. "Well I herd that she sells her body, I heard the do that a lot in china!" Someone else whispered "Quite!" some one whispered 'finally someone with a brain' but she though too soon for the voice continued "She might get someone to come break our feet like they do to their women! You know Chinese foot binding!" Yumi rolled her eyes that was a long time ago, they don't do that anymore! Did they listen at all in history?, And besides she wasn't even Chinese, her eyes did not determine that! Her eyes made her Asian.

Yumi sighed in relief as the bell rang signaling the end of class, but she stayed in her desk until the classroom was empty, tears brimming on the tips of her eyes. Yumi shook her head she wasn't going to let it get to her she was stronger than that! She had to be. She slowly carried herself over through the forest, she wasn't in the mood to face her friends at the moment, she needed to alone. She came to Ulrich's favorite sulking tree and pulled a pen and paper from her school bag she then began to write.

Ignorant comments fall from your mouth

Stating stupid things without a doubt

The words you say cut deep and long

How do you suppose I stay strong?

To foreign pain I shed no tears

For I am wiser than my years

And though your words stab me like a knife

I will see through this endless night

This timeless problem young and old

Racism keeps it's strong hold

and though you say these words of blame

You shall cause me no pain.

Yumi stared at the words written on the paper till she heard the swishing of leaves to her right.

She looked up into those chocolate brown eyes ,Ulrich's eyes, and finally, finally her tears fell.

He stared at her with utter confusion, but then he sat down next to her, picked her up and, cradled her in his arms. He picked up the paper that was siting to their left and read it quickly, he then looked back at her with concerned eyes. She had her face buried in his chest while she sobbed uncontrollably. He ran his finger through her hair as he whispered softly in her ear. "No matter what other people say you are still my beautiful Yumi" He felt her smile a little while her face was still buried in his shirt. She breathed a sigh and looked up at him. 'He really dose care!' She smiled a little more and he kissed her forehead then pulled her up to stand. "Now" he said "You need to eat something, and on the way to the cafeteria I'll tell you some of the stuff they say about me!" and they walked hand in hand to the lunch room and she knew she could count on him.

A/N: Racism is a horrible thing, and I am sad to say that I have been on the receiving end of it and it hurts A LOT! But there is nothing I can do about the things they say except to write stories and maybe help other people see what they do to people when they say these things but many of them will merely classify what the say as freedom of speech. But I thank you for reading this it means a lot to me and I would mean even more if you review!
