Prologue

What more do you want to know?

It was cold, and it was dark, and I was hopelessly lost.

I must have spent hours in those woods, fleeing from that… that demon… or whatever the hell it was.

There are no words or phrases in which to describe it. I don't think I could. I'm not even sure I want to.

You want me to try?

(Laughs scornfully)

Why bother?

It's not like you believe me. It's not like anyone believes my outlandish story.

What is it my mother called me?

Eccentric.

Attention whore.

I mean… that's why I'm here… isn't it? Because everyone thinks I'm insane in the membrane. Except, I know I am more than just fucked up.

You don't understand. None of you do. None of you have any idea what's it like to be his little bitch, his little ragdoll.

Lucky. All of you.

(Voice lowers, now trembling in guilt and fear)

I didn't mean to kill them. He made me do it. He forced me! I didn't have a choice, I swear!

That's what he does to you, you know? If he doesn't murder you first, he turns you into his sadistic puppet.

He pulls the strings… so you can't.

You have to believe me! But you don't.

First, you need to see him.

Then you'll believe me.

You all will believe me.

Sup guys and ladies!

So… I've had this Slender Man fic in my head for a few years now, but just never got around to writing it because I've been too occupied with updating my other fics. (Yes, I am still working on my other stories—very slowly, but surely. Writer's block is a real SOB.) Also, I know this prologue is super short, but it's meant to be a quick introduction. Other chapters will be longer.

As a side note, this is my first Creepypasta/Slender Man story. It might start off a little slow, but please give it a chance. If you happen to like it, wonderful! Reviews, favorites and/or follows will also be much appreciated, so I know whether or not to continue updating future chapters.

On another side note, if you want to see what my OC looks like I'll have a picture of her as my cover art. Think I'll begin doing that for all my OC-related stories.
