Sam snored, the sound thankfully muffled with his face mashed down into his pillow.
Dean sat down on the edge of the bed, his legs too weak to support the weight of the promise his drunk little brother just forced from him. His hand reached out almost involuntarily to smooth a wayward strand of hair off Sam's flushed cheek.
Dean's cards were face-up on the table. All he could hope for now was that this conversation would be forgotten in the morning.
And that the giant bitch's hangover would be fucking epic.
Because – bossy? Maybe. But he was not short.
