Yellow Flower
Ino was working at her families flower shop most days and everyone was happy seeing her smiling face.
But Ino only faked smiles for everyone that came by.
"Welcome to...Sai." Ino knew her boyfriend very well and yet she was not herself.
If she was fine she would have known him coming by this afternoon as usual. "Expecting someone else?" he asked.
"Sorry. Busy day. And it's not even a holiday." She says. "Who came by?" Sai always wanted to know what was going on and it was distracting for Ino.
"Well, Kiba asked for some bluebells, Tara also, came by, with Naruto, asking for roses, And my own teammates asked for daisies." She said.
"Hi. Um. I want to ask for some lilies?" Hinata peeked in the doorway with Gwen outside.
"Sure Hinata just one second." Ino ran around gathering the flowers and headed back to the register. "Here. Thanks, Ino." Gwen gave her the money then left with Hinata.
"If I recall, Neji's birthday is today right? The roses must be for Lady Tsunade. And Kiba had planned a date with Skyler for tonight." Sai knew everything going on in the village and telling Ino made her day.
"That makes sense."
"Ino, I would like to buy this yellow flower." Odd that he asks. "Sure." Ino charged him and he gave her the money.
But why give it back?
"Not the flower you wanted?"
"it's for you."Ino took the flower while blushing. "For my pretty girl whose smile is as bright as the flower." So sweet!
Ino laughed. "Thank you, Sai." She loved him.
Giving him a quick kiss on the cheek she quickly yelled. "Dad I'm gonna take off early." "Okay. Just no screwing around." She rolled her eyes and walked outside with Sai holding hands.
I love Ino and Sai together! They are my favorite pair in all of Naruto.
Better then Sakura and Sasuke and Naruto and Hinata. Hope you loved it!
