Spoiler: Chapter 412
Disclaimers: I do not own Bleach or any of the characters.
Interpretation
He brought her to safety. Away from Aizen's clutches.
Despite being thrown on the building rooftop.
"You're all shaky. What'd you come here for?" It's dangerous to come so close to Captain Aizen, especially when you're so weak.
Although they haven't seen each other since Aizen's betrayal in Soul Society, she can still tell what type of smile he's smiling.
It was a grimace smile. Why are you here?
He questioned her.
"'I believed him, yet he betrayed me.' Did Izuru really say that?" Don't use Izuru as a defensive mechanism.
He knows. He knows that it was really her feelings. She felt betrayed by his actions. After everything they had done together and survived together. He left her again without telling her where he's going.
Except…
Until the very end, when he finally did tell her, it was not something she would want to know. It was not something she would want to happen.
He caressed her chest, her necklace. That gentle hand that had killed so many.
She looked up weakly at the sky. He could have killed her with his Shinsou.
But he didn't.
Instead, he injured her further with his Shinsou. Don't follow me. Stay away from me.
"Matsumoto-san!"
Rangiku blinked wearily.
He could've have killed her easily.
"What do you think you're doing out here! Your healing is not finished yet." Kira scolded.
Yes… He had that chance. But he never took it.
She had never really understood him; even when they were little. But at the same time, she had understood him far better than anyone: those little gestures, his tone, his smiles, his posture, his hands, his closed eyes, the tilt of his head.
And yet after all this time, he can still read her like an opened book.
He knows she's confused, hurt by the things he had done to her.
However…
Just like their childhood together, he saved her again from death.
My interpretation. Let's just hope that Gin hasn't killed Rangiku yet. I don't want the next hundred to be about Ichigo training again. And as much as I would love for Rangiku to confess her undying love for Gin; I don't think she's the type of person to throw away her duties like that. But for now, this is as close as GinRan gets.
