A/N: This is my first story, and I've never uploaded to any site. I also have the amazing Kirei Ai Tenshi looking at my chapter's first. Thank you so much for the help! Also, many will notice that Kagome is OOC in most things. It's because of the fact that she was reborn into the Fairy Tale verse. If you don't like it, don't read it.
Chapter One: A New Adventure
**THE BEGGINING**
The battle was over, and Kagome and her allies were all in the clearing celebrating their victory. Everyone was cheering, hugging, or in Kagome's case, relaxing against a tree and watching the aftermath of the battle. She held the whole Jewel in her hand, a cut on her upper arm and forehead as blood slowly slid down over her right eye. She watched everyone with a small, watery smile as she looked around. Spotting who she wanted to talk to, she walked towards Inuyasha, who was holding Kikyo to his chest. When he noticed her, he looked up with a small smile, while Kikyo blinks and turns to look in the direction the Inu-hanyo was looking. When she spots Kagome, she smiles softly at the younger priestess that she'd come to see as a younger sister throughout Kagome's years in the Feudal Era. They waved before noticing the pained look in her eyes, and knew what she was coming to talk to them about. The Jewel being wished on, and her leaving the Feudal Era and back to her own time.
"Inuyasha, it's time to wish the Jewel away. You and Kikyo have earned the wish out of all of us. You two have suffered the longest out of us all because of it. Just promise me to look after Shippo for me in my place? And no wishing to be full demon either." Was Kagome's only words as she held out the Jewel to the couple, sadness in her eyes.
They'd left Shippo and Rin at the village with Kaede during the battle, not wanting them to be hurt, or to see anyone that they loved potentially die in battle. With a saddened look, and dropping ears, Inuyasha nods slowly, taking the Jewel between the claws of his pointer finger and thumb, before looking at Kikyo imploringly. When she nods with a small smile, he looks back at Kagome, straight in the eyes. "You've given me everything I've ever wanted, wench. This will be for you. All of us have already talked it over before the battle while you were at home last time." He takes a deep breath and looks around as the rest of their allies form a circle around the three, smiles on their faces - Sesshomaru even let a small one appear - and nods. Closing his eyes, he spoke the wish. "I wish that Kagome can have a second chance at a happy life."
The Jewel glows brightly, causing everyone to close their eyes. When the light fades, Kagome was gone and those present either close their eyes as tears fall, or lower their heads, not wanting anyone to see that her leaving had affected them in any way.

Two year old Gray Fullbuster and his twin sister sat outside, watching the snow fall around them. Their dark, blue eyes alight with wonder. They didn't know what was about to happen. The twins were almost identical, except that the girl had silver streaks in her long, black hair. She also had more magic in her body than was normal for a two year old. When the door to their home opened, their father walks out, eyes filled with sadness as he stares at the two children before picking up the little girl.
"Gray, go inside. I need to talk to Kagome for a moment." The male said, voice almost cracking as he spoke. When the little boy looks up and nods, running inside, their father starts walking away from their home, carrying the little girl in his arms. He was about to do something that would change everything in their lives, and in the lives of those soon to be met. Walking into the forest near their home, and walks for a while. They soon stop in a clearing, the male having tears in his eyes.
"Daddy? What wrong?" The little girl looks at her father and spoke in a broken sentence, unable to use full sentences yet. With sad eyes, he pulls her closer to his chest, squeezing his eyes shut and whispering "I'm sorry, sweetie" softly to the little girl. She blinks, trying to look up at her father only to be knocked unconscious when he pinches a pressure point, setting her inside a large cave. The then kisses her head, and runs, tears rushing down his face. What he didn't know, was that the ice dragon, Glacia, was in that very cave, watching the whole exchange with curious eyes.
Hours passed before the little girl woke up, blinking and looking around, only to become scared. She didn't know where she was, and wanted her daddy. "D-Daddy?! Where you?!" She cries out, tears streaming down her little cheeks as she looks around, only to pause and scream when she saw the large, pale blue dragon behind her. "Who you? Why me here?" The two year old shook in fear, staring up at the dragon before her, who sighs and looks at the small, human female sadly.
"My name is Glacia, the Ice Dragon. An adult, human male brought you here. I've been watching over you for the last..." The dragon, who had a female voice, peaks out at the outside world before looking back at the small child, "three hours, as you slept. I have an idea, young one. Would you like to learn magic?"
Kagome looks at the dragon wide eyed, hope replacing the fear in her eyes. "Magic? Me learn?" Her little voice grew louder as she spoke, showing her excitement over the idea before she nodded. "Yeah! Daddy know Ice magic! He teach brovver when he older!"
The dragon snickers softly, nodding at the child. "I can teach you magic similar to Ice-Make Magic. It's Ice Dragon Slayer Magic. Would you like to learn, young one?" Just as she finished speaking, the little girl was glomping the dragon's snout, smiling brightly.
"Hai, Glacia-kaa-san!" That caused the dragon to sweat drop before she carefully uses her talons to lift the small girl into the air and before her eyes.
"Very well, young one. What is your name, first off?" The dragon said softly, resting the child on her snout between two small spikes.
"Kagome is Kagome Fullbuster! Her twin brovver Gray!" This made the dragon chuckle softly, noticing the excitement in the child's voice.
"Then let us get started on your magic training, Kagome." And with that, the duo went off to a further part inside the cave, starting her training and learning of the dragon instincts.

Kagome, now 14 years old, looks at the small necklace in her hands, made of ice created by her dragon parent. Tears were streaming down her face as she left the cave, a small bag over one shoulder with food for her trip to find her twin brother. She'd heard rumors that he'd become a member of a guild called Fairy Tail, so that was her destination. Slipping the necklace over her head, she clutches it in one hand before leaving the area. It took almost a month to reach the guild, and when she did, she blinks in surprise at the rowdiness inside. Carefully moving through the guild, she smashes a table heading her direction, growling in annoyance. "**Ice Dragon's Frozen Fist!"** was heard over the loud ruckus in the middle of the guild followed by the crunching and shattering sound of ice. With a glare, she looks around as everyone stops fighting, eyes wide.
She calmly walks towards the small male on the bar, face blank as she stares up at him. "Oi, old man. You the guildmaster of this place?"
Makarov nods, staring calmly at the girl before him. "I am, and may I ask who you are, young lady?" He asked in a calm, gentle voice, eyes filled with wisdom and kindness.
Kagome nods, setting her bag down and looks up at him. "My name is Kagome Fullbuster, and I use Ice Dragon Slaying Magic. I heard a rumor that my twin brother, Gray Fullbuster joined this crazy guild." She could hear gasps throughout the guild, along with a few chairs being pushed back. She didn't turn to look, but kept her gaze solely on the small, old man before her as his eyes widened in surprise.
"He did. I'm assuming you wish to join also?" The old man said kindly, making the girl smirk slightly.
"Got that right, old man. Know where Gray is, though? I need to catch up with him. We haven't seen each other since we were two years old." Kagome then pauses when she felt an extremely warm hand on her shoulder, before smelling the scent of a dragon slayer. She quickly grabs the offending arm attached to the hand, spins in a semi-circle, and throws the person across the guild, glaring at the offending, pink haired mage as he crashes into the ground. The temperature of the air even dropped as she lowered her head, black bangs shadowing her eyes as she spoke in a clipped tone of voice. "Don't. Touch. Me. Got it?"
"What the hell?! I was only gonna ask a question!" Said pink haired mage glares as he stood, only to notice the dark aura forming around the girl. "R-Right! No touching!" He backs away slowly, eyes wide and fearful as he watches the female carefully.
"Good. Now..."Turning back to the elderly male, she smirks at him. "Am I able to join or what?"
This got a chuckle out of the guild master, as he nodded and hops down, leading her to the side of the bar that held the guild stamp. "Where do you want it, young one, and what color?"
Kagome put a finger to her lips, thinking slightly before a smirk appears on her lips and she pulls the collar of her shirt down, right where her shoulder was connected to her chest and points. "Right above where the heart is and in... a sapphire blue." Was her softly spoke words. The old man nods, setting the stamper to the correct color before placing it where she wanted it. Once done, he puts it away.
With a bright smile, he hops up and onto the banister, surprising the female. "Alright everyone! Time to party! We have a new member, who happens to be a dragon slayer! Treat her right, everyone!" And with that, cheers were filling the guild hall, before a boy, the same height as Kagome, with black hair and dark blue eyes walks over to her. He stares at her carefully, shirt missing along with his pants. "Kags?"
"Gray!" Was her reply as she tackles him in a hug, knocking them both onto the ground as tears filled her eyes. "I've missed you, nii-san!" After she spoke, she starts crying as his arms wrapped around her, worry and confusion clear in his eyes.
"I missed you too, Kags. Welcome home, eh?" He chuckles before sputtering when she spoke, pulling away from him.
"Nii-san, where are your clothes?" This caused a dark red hue to form on his cheeks, making a good few people around them burst into laughter.
