This is in reply to DRAMIONEFANLIKEFOREVER's songfic challenge. I normally don't write so darkly but I felt I had to to fit the song.
She
walks to school with a lunch she packed
Nobody knows what she's
holding back;
Wearing the same dress she wore yesterday,
She
hides the bruises with the linen and lace;
oh
'Nobody knows nor do they care.' Keeps running through her mind. 'Harry doesn't notice and Ron's too busy sucking on Lavender's face to see what has happened. The only ones that really sees what's going on are my enemies.'
The
teacher wonders but she doesn't ask,
It's hard to see the pain
behind the mask;
Bearing the burden of a secret storm,
Sometimes
she wishes she was never born;
"Hermione, is something wrong?" Professor McGonagall asked as she watched her star pupil slowly disappear inside of herself.
"Nothing's wrong Professor, I'm just tired. I think I'll go and take a nap." She turns and heads back to her dorms.
Through
the wind and the rain,
She stands hard as a stone in a world that
she can't rise above;
But her dreams give her wings and she flies
to a place where she's loved.
The rain pounded outside her window and she slowly drifted off after taking some medication.

No one knew what happened to her except for one. He only knew because one night on her patrol, he cornered her and forced her to say. After, she made him promise to never tell another living soul.
Somebody
cries in the middle of the night,
The neighbors hear but they
turn out the lights;
A fragile soul caught in the hands of fate,
When morning comes it will be too late.
Her roommates heard her cry out in her sleep for the past several months. After the first week, they stopped caring as long as they got some sleep at night. Never did they think that on the only night she was silent in a long while that something was wrong.
Through
the wind and the rain,
She stands hard as a stone in a world that
she can't rise above;
But her dreams give her wings and she flies
to a place where she's loved.
She was found the next day with the potion vial next to her left hand. Questions were asked and the only one with answers remained silent. No one knew that he knew or that the fact that the one that made she disappear inside herself was killed once he was told.

He kept his promise even after she was found. Years later, he, never telling a soul, slipped away the same way she did.
A
statue stands in a shaded place,
An angel girl with an upturned
face;
Her name is written on a polished rock,
A broken heart
that the world forgot.
The medicine she took was in fact a potion she stole from the Hospital Wing and had over dosed on. No one ever expected this to happen to a girl that had such promise in her future.
Through
the wind and the rain,
She stands hard as a stone in a world that
she can't rise above;
But her dreams give her wings and she flies
to a place where she's loved.
Her parents were never found to be told about her death until 30 years later when they turned up dead in Australia from a Death Eater that managed to evade the Aurors for so long.

And now everyone knows what happened after Hermione Jean Granger was nearly raped over the summer between sixth and seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
