Waking up, yawning wide,
Rolling over on your side,
A beautiful smell reaches your nose,
A smell sweeter than the rose,
COOKIES! You think,
Out of your bed you slink,
Smugly looking if anybeast is there,
You see nobeast anywhere,
You creep along the wall,
You hear a bird call,
You duck, in fear of being found,
Then you find the source of the sound,
Silly you.
Continuing on your escapade,
As darkness'll fade,
You see your pot of gold,
Just as delicious as your nose told.
On the table cloth you tug,
The cookie jar fits in you lap, snug.
Munching on your prize,
You blink your eyes,
Tired, no!
It can't be! Suddenly very sleep…y.
