Covering the ground in a powdery white sail,
Whipping up a snowy gale,
Coating trees in an icy lamination,
Dibbuns greeting it a great salutation,
Snow frosting tree boughs,
As sleepy birds arouse,
Earth's icy breath sweeps our land,
Blowing snow 'round like sand,
I remember winters past,
I hope this snow will last and last,
Icicles shed their tears as the sun comes out,
This snow will last for days, though, there is no doubt,
Slivers of ice hit the ground,
The snow is so thick the ice makes no sound,
Now you see what I mean and you'll
Never forget this beautiful scene.
