Being stuck in an orphanage isn't the best. I have been here since I was five and now I am fifteen. In just a year, they will boot me out of here. Once I turn sixteen, they throw you on the streets. Life sucks.
"Get down here Sakura!" I heard someone yell, so I ran downstairs. I didn't want to get into anymore trouble then I was. I had stolen some bread from the kitchen and my friend helped me out. He got caught, I didn't, but he spilled and blamed it on me. I had never been caught before, until now that is, which sucks.
"Yes Ma'am?" I said, trying to be polite, a lady was here sitting and waiting.
"Meet Tsunade. Tsunade this is Sakura." I looked over at Tsunade. Was she seriously going to… adopt me or something?
"Nice to meet you." I said, with a smile on my face putting my hand out, but she didn't extend her hand towards mine. So I put my hand down- is it hot in here or is it just me?
"Sakura… you have such beautiful name." She said, making me blush a bit. "So tell me about yourself Sakura."
"Well, what would you like to know?" I asked, a little confused, she just laughed at me, making my stomach do flips.
"Favorite color… any hobbies? Do you like books? What kind of food do you like? Stuff like that." She said, still laughing.
"My favorite color would be green. My hobby is reading. I like medical mysteries, those kinds of books. I like… um… strawberries?" I said, unsure of what to say, what was my favorite food?
"Hm..." Was all she said, making me feel uncomfortable again.
"You may go Sakura." And I nodded. Exiting the room, I closed the door. I put my ear on the door and listened—
"She is like me in a way. I like her." The lady, Tsunade said. Making me smile, I am so cool.
"In other words, you would like to adopt her?" The lady said, but after that it was silent, so I left.
I ended up back in my bedroom. Lovely. I sat there, praying I would get adopted… I wanted out of here badly. I mean I would miss my friends; they are my family, but still. I have matured. And I need to grow up… I need a life—literally.
I woke up with the lights turning on. I opened my eyes and I figured I fell asleep for a few minutes.
"Sakura, dear. Congratulations, you're being adopted!" The lady said, while I just sat there processing the information I just had heard. Wait. Adopted? FINALLY!
I sat up; "Really?" she nodded.
Just then Tsunade walked in, she had a luggage case in her hand. "Here." She said, putting it on my bed. "Pack quickly. I would like to take you home." She said, once again smiling; now I have a family!
I jumped up, grabbing my clothes, toothbrush, etc. I shoved it all in the bag, not caring if it was neat or not. Then I grabbed my books, I had them under my bed. I place them under the clothes, and then I closed the suitcase. Then I grabbed a picture from my wall and put it under my arm.
"Ready?" Tsunade asked.
"Absolutely." I said with a huge glowing smile.
Well wasn't that interesting? Maybe, I dunno, I am just writing the story. Just to make things clear-- I don't own Naruto, which sucks, but its life. Please Review, I will be updating DAILY.- icarius X3
