Introduction
For over countless decades of my life, I have been searching for any evidence of the lost race of the "Equestrians". All is known by my other colleagues and I that the Equestrians had some... "magical" properties. To those who may have not been there, our superiors mocked us and ridiculed at the hidden truth of any Equestrians ever existing in the first place. I still remember the day that my entire team have given up on both me and my life's search. Although deeply depressed at my team's departure, I urged and pledged to myself to find the Equestrians... or die trying.
Fortunately, death had to wait his turn!
For I, S.A. Lopez, had found the Equestrians and all their beauty! The mythic race lives to what looks like another world. Truthfully, anything could look "off-worldly" if you surround it with large mountains, to protect it from the horrible environment.
I lived off their lush and flourishing land as I studied the strange race of humans that have been around for what seems like centuries. But strangest however is the huge cultural influences the Equestrians possesses. For example, the armies still use steel and grindstones as a chef can use a gas-powered stove. I didn't have a doubt in my that there were, at one point, some brave Equestrian explorers dared reach outside the giant walls to the "Other-World". as the locals called it. Or even vice versa.
But to me, the most interesting and... most peculiar feat the Equestrians had were their deities and religions. The utmost ancient Equestrians, to what I understood, first settled in their land of Equestria, they were deep intrigued by the pony. The miniature horses from Finland! The ponies helped the first Equestrians settle in. And, according to historians, "two pony goddesses approach the ancient [Equestrians] to warn them about the Griffons, and race of extremely brutal warriors who worshiped"... well, the griffon. The Half-Eagle-Half-Lion creature that represented fear in during the Crusades? "A war took place at the northern border of the walls and [their] ancestors [gain victory] from the battle."
Ever since then, the Equestrians took the pony as a symbol of their people and worshiped the goddesses as their protectors and forces of nature. Apparently, one commands the Sun and the seasons summer and spring. While the other commands the moon and the seasons winter and fall. I believe their names were "Celestia the Elder" and "Luna the Bash".
Their traditions and rituals divided the Equestrians into three tribes based on magical feats given to the goddesses. Obviously, they were named after a type of ancient ponies from the first Equestrians: The Earth Pony, The Pegasus Pony, and the Unicorn Pony. What is truly amazing is that they must of had great contact with the Greeks and French to come up with those names.
As for what makes every Equestrian unique is the "magical" properties that I mentioned earlier. I'll start with the most common: The Earth Ponies.
