The Unexpected Adventures of Amaimon and Mephisto
New Record
Amaimon tossed the bottle up and down.
Up… and down.
Up… ...and down.
Up… ... ...and down.

"Amaimon, will you please stop doing that," Mephisto sighed. "I can't concentrate on my work." Actually, he was partially afraid the demon would send the bottle too high and it would get stuck in the ceiling. If it did, it wouldn't be the first time the Earth King got something imbedded in his ceiling.
"Hai, sumimasen." The green-haired demon swirled the bottle in his hands while staring out the window. He was sitting in a comfortable red chair, his legs over one armrest while his back leaned against the other. He continued swirling the bottle as he sucked on a lollipop, one that he found most delicious. If he remembered correctly, it was pink. But what flavor was it again? He spent the next few minutes trying to remember before giving up, spitting the candy-less stick out onto the floor.
"Tch, you will pick that up and put it in the trash can."
"Hai, I will." But first the Earth King wanted to drink something. Finally stopping the swirling bottle, he held it firmly in his hand and went to take the top off. Mephisto set his pen down and looked to Amaimon with irritation. He was about to tell the demon to pick up his rubbish when he saw his brother begin to open the bottle. He gave a horrified expression as he stood up from his chair and reached out in desperation.
"Amaimon, st–!" But it was too late. The moment the cap left the bottle, a fountain of soda spewed forth. It was like a volcano of soda went off in the room. Seconds later, it stopped just as fast as it begun. Amaimon could only sit there with large blinking eyes, bewildered by what just happened. Mephisto, on the other hand, looked down at the soda-soaked paperwork and felt his anger rise threefold. Most of the furniture in the room had soda on it and the shelves dripped with the sweet liquid. The soda-soaked Amaimon laughed a little, a smile reaching his lips.
"That was neat! Aniue, did you see–"
"Amaimon," the older demon growled, his voice dripping with danger and his fists shaking. Had his eyes not been hidden by his hair, the Earth King was almost certain they would be a dark glare. "You have exactly three seconds to leave this room or I will kill you in the slowest possible way I know of."
Amaimon was gone in 0.3285 seconds.
It was a new record for him.
