Getting him to remember

Chapter 1: Losing Memory

Disclaimer: Yea…I own Descendants of Darkness…That's funny.

It was late Tuesday night. And Tsuzuki was pacing his living room. Hisoka had recently left on a mission by himself and Tsuzuki was worried. It had been two weeks already!

"Where the hell is he?" the irate man cried in anger. He was so worked up that he only had one piece of cake today.

There was suddenly a thump at the door. Confused Tsuzuki walked over to the door. As he opened the door, Tsuzuki gasped loudly in shock. It was Hisoka! 'And he was unconscious! Tsuzuki quickly pulled the limp boy through the door.

When he got Hisoka to the couch, Tsuzuki called Watari over and told him to" get your ass over here now! Hisoka's been hurt!'' then he promptly hung up on him.

Tsuzuki walked back over to the couch and saw Hisoka was waking. The older guardian of death rushed over to the boy and helped him sit up.

"Hisoka! Are you alright? What happened to you? Was it Muraki? '' Tsuzuki rapidly questioned. The whole time the younger man was being questioned he looked confused.

"Who are you? ''Hisoka asked Tsuzuki. Tsuzuki's eyed widened in shock. Hisoka doesn't remember him?

"What? You mean you don't remember me?'' the man asked in fear, hoping it wouldn't be true.

"No, I don't. Should I?" Hisoka wondered.

"Yes, we work together,'' Tsuzuki replied softly.

"No we don't I don't have a partner yet,' the boy said highly confused.

"Wait you know you're a guardian of death?" Tsuzuki asked, what was going on here? Did he just not remember him?

"Yea, I have been one for years," Hisoka replied.

Just then Watari burst into the room. "Where is he? What happened?" the man yelled loudly.

"Watari!" both Tsuzuki and Hisoka cried happily. Tsuzuki stopped and turned around.

'So he did only not remember me,' he thought sadly. He sat down heavily and put his head in his hands. He had just gotten Hisoka's trust and they were slowly starting their relationship. Now it will be all for nothing, because he doesn't even remember me.

Meanwhile Watari was checking Hisoka over.

"Watari?'' Hisoka asked quietly.

"Hm?''

"Who is that man over there? And why don't I remember him?" Hisoka questioned in confusion. Watari looked up in shock. Hisoka doesn't remember Tsuzuki?

"That is Tsuzuki. He is your partner," Watari answered softly. He couldn't believe it; just when Tsuzuki had started to gain his trust he loses it.

"I don't understand Watari I don't have a partner,'' the boy wondered.

"Yes, you do, but I guess you have lost your memory of him," the scientist replied in sadness. It seemed like Tsuzuki could never get a break. Everything was always taken from him.

"Oh," was au Hisoka said for he was looking at the man next to him. His aura radiated sadness and pain. Hisoka reached over and put his hand on the other man's arm. Tsuzuki started and looked up quickly, the put a smile on his face to hide the pain. To Hisoka that smile looked way to practiced.

"Well Watari, let's go and see what is causing the boy to lose his memory," Tsuzuki suggested lightly. He stood up and headed toward the door. Both Watari and Hisoka looked on in concern, but neither said anything. For at the moment nothing could be said that would ease the pain.

"Yea, alright, let's go Hisoka" Watari answered softly and soon the room was empty.
