I decided to try a new story! Don't worry, I won't forget about my old one! This'll be mostly in the gang's POV!
Disclaimer: I don't own the Outsiders
Chapter 1
Ponyboy's POV"Hey look Darry, new neighbors are finally moving in. Maybe we should go help them." I said to my oldest brother.
"Are you sure Pone, they don't look like they have much stuff to move in." He responded.
"Maybe they can't afford it." I pushed.
"Okay fine, let's go ask." Darry said giving in. Once we got outside, we saw them sitting on the front steps, eating red licorice. I heard music playing, but once one of them saw us, she pushed something behind her back and stopped the music. The other once just stared at us walking up through her big sunglasses. Why would a girl with such a small face have big glasses?
"Hello, my names Darrell Curtis. My brother Ponyboy saw you guys moving in we were wondering if you needed any help." Darry said. The two girls looked at each other and smirked.
"No." They both said in unison. Then the one without the sunglasses spoke. "No thanks, we're okay."
"Well okay then, if you need any help, just come on over." Darry said.
"Thanks." The same girl spoke. We turned and walked away.
"They didn't even tell us their names." I pointed out to him. Girls are weird.
"They seem nice though." He responded. I pictured them again. The one without the sunglasses had shoulder length straight blonde hair, a few freckles, blue eyes, and her skin wasn't tan. Typical blonde. The one with the sunglasses was better lookin' in my opinion. She had longer, mid-back length chocolate brown wavy hair, side bangs that came just below her left eyebrow, tan skin, and I couldn't see what kind of eyes she had, but I'm guessing brown. They were also dressed weird. They were wearing pants. I've never seen a girls wear pants before…well, except in gym. But these pants were different. They were different. Oh well.
Sodapop's POV"I guess someone bought the house next door." I said to Two-Bit and Johnny while we were walking home. I saw Two-Bit look towards the house next door. When he saw the blonde, I knew then that we were gonna have to go over there.
"C'mon let's go talk to them!" Two-Bit said leaving me and Johnny behind. Johnny looked at me.
"Oh well, let's go Johnny. There's no stopping him now." I said. Johnny looked at the girls and turned a light shade of pink. We started walking over there. We approached them only to hear Two-Bit talking about nothing, as usual. Once Two-Bit stopped talking, which seemed like forever, I jumped in.
"Hi, I'm Sodapop Curtis. I live next door and this is Johnny Cade." I said looking at the blonde, then the brunette, but I brought my eyes to the ground. The brunette was kinda intimidating with those glasses. The brunette and the blonde looked at each other and smirked. Then the blonde spoke.
"I'm Kelly Bradson. Nice to meet you." She said with a smile.
"Andi McKay." The other one said.
"Cool, is that short of Andrea?" I asked trying to make conversation.
"No." she said simply.
"Hey what's with the sunglasses? Wanna make sure bugs don't get in those pretty eyes of yours?" Two-Bit asked taking the sunglasses off her. All me, Johnny, and Two-Bit could do was stare. She had one brown eye and one deep blue eye. Rolling her eyes, she got up, took the sunglasses from Two-Bit and placed them back on her face. After a minute of silence, Kelly jumped and looked at Andi.
"What's wrong and what's that buzzing sound?" Two-Bit asked.
"Oh, there's a bee behind you." Andi said. We all turned around, but there was nothing there.
"No, there's not." Two-Bit told her.
"Oh there's not? My bad." She responded with a smile and placed a licorice string between her teeth. I had to smile.
"Well, we'd better go. We'll see you guys later." I said.
