How do you hide
From what's inside?
I need to get away
I hope for an escape
Or maybe I don't care.
I want someone to save me
From this deep dark despair
I try in vain to get free
Darkness just tightens his grip on me

From the dark when it's inside?
I'm losing myself
There's no way out
And Darkness is there
With arms wide open.
My soul seems beyond repair
This just isn't fair
Can no one help me?

How can one hide
From what demons lay inside?
Screaming to be heard
How I long to be cured
And then a voice coming from the light
Cries, "I hear you."
I say, "If you can help me
And turn this darkness to light
Everything will be alright."
Finally somewhere to go
Someone to turn to
My life can start anew.
