Haiku of Haikus
This is what happens when neekabe get's bored ^_~ A haiku is a poem with 5 sylables in the first line 7 in the second 5 again in the 3rd and last line. I found some old haikus of mine and thought they were kinda net however too short ^_^ So this is a 'haiku' created out of haikus. It has 3 parts, the first with 5 haikus second with 7, last with 5. The Earth and War
The earth's beginning
A new day, full of hope
Yet humans betray
They hate what they fear
They fear anything different
Kill in their anger
Men had forgotten
That war is nothing but death.
Fear disguised as hate
Yet some saw the need
Decided to show the world
What war truly was.
Man's dusk approaches
Darkness and light, right, wrong
Blend till there's neither
Child of the Battle
Fights because that's all he knows
Strength hides a torn soul
Child of darkness
Kills eagerly, though he bleeds
Laughter hiding pain
Child of calm Silence
Sheltered by indifference
Eyes plead for freedom
Child of Compassion
Dismayed at what must be done
Willing all the same
Child of true justice
Grief-filled, implacable
Holding a storm's strength.
Together they rage,
Let themselves be hated
Darkness incarnate
Dragging the world down
Into the Hell that is war
They made the world see
Blackest night, stars shine
Keeping promise of light still
Despite the worlds grief
Within the darkness
Humanity struggled back
Refusing wars lure
Turning from war's pain,
Man fought against its children
Condemns its savior's
Hope fails the children
Leaving ragged dreams and death
Hopeless night, they bleed
Dark night, dark children
Died themselves to teach the world
Darkness begets light.
