"This evening we will be coverin-"
Three sharp knocks cut off the well-aged man from sprouting out the rest of his -surely- agonisingly long and boring lecture, his steel grey eyes narrowed on the large dark wooden mahogany door as he let an irritated sigh escape his thinned lips.
"...Enter."
The door swung open carelessly, with more force than necessary causing the expensive wood to slam into the extravagantly made wall.
"What do you think you're doing!"
An ebony shaggy haired male poked his head around the open doorway, staring at the crack on the creme wall that was just visible from behind the thickly wooded door with a rather passive and uninterested look upon his pale face. The young male straightened up and turned his half-lidded stare to the now angered teacher, cold grey eyes met steel green in a somewhat one-sided battle.
The teen tucked his hands into his pockets and heaved a great sigh, "My bad..."
If the teacher wasn't so stern he may well have fallen over from the sheer gall of the young man in front of him, instead, the elder massaged his temples and spoke through gritted teeth. "I don't believe you understand the severity of the situation young man! You have just damaged school property and you are now being disrespectful to a superior."
A scoff passed through the boy's mouth, "I'd hardly call you my superior..."
With his face twisted into a hardly kept snarl, the elder raised his voice as if to scold the bold boy. But he was quickly shot down by a young female teen who stepped into the classroom and stood slightly in front of the boy, who any could easily guess from their shared features that they were in fact twins, her own light grey eyes locked with the teachers in a placid way.
"Don't mind my brother sir, what he lacks in manners he makes up for with his word." She threw a pointed stare towards her brother, the difference in height seemingly not bothering her. "And I assure you that he will fully pay to cover any of the damages he has caused. Right." The end of the sentence was aimed at her twin, though it was definitely not asked as a question, the twin in question gave a bored nod as his cold grey eyes scanned the room.
"Hmm, well I suggest that your brother learns how to act within society." The grey haired male shot a glare towards the taller twin before turning his attention to the girl, hands locked behind his back in a stern and commanding stance. "And you young lady should keep a closer eye on him. If this ever happens again you'll both find yourselves in the Headmasters office, understood?"
Ice met silver as the two shared a look before bowing to their elder. "Hai Sensei."
The Sensei raised a brow at the teen boy not expecting the show of respect from him -even if it was irritatingly careless- he cleared his throat as the twins stood back up. "With that done, I assume you two are the new students." The girl nodded. "In that case introduce yourselves, then take the available seats. You have already ruined my class."
A frown tugged at the pale girl's full lips as she turned to face the full class, pulling her twin to the face the class as well.
"Ano, sorry for the entrance." She lifted her black painted nails up and jokingly covered her mouth from her brother's view. "Shi-ni-kun is super dramatic~" he huffed out a sigh as a few girls giggled. "Anyway~ My name is Ikkiru Michiyo, it's a pleasure to meet all of you!" She bowed once again, her long ebony locks flowed over her shoulders -a few more inches and it would have brushed the ground if she bowed any deeper- when she stood up the wavy dark locks laid around her waist.
She turned her silvery grey eyes towards her brother, nudging him to which he sent her a blank stare, then turned his icy gaze to the class. "...Ikkiru Shiki and this whole thing is extremely annoying." He ran his long thin fingers through his dark shaggy shoulder length hair as he stared at the class in half lidded boredom.
Sensei made a noise of displeasure at the boy's introduction, but let it slide none the less. "Are there any questions?"
A few members of the class immediately shot their hands into the air, a few of the girls staring dreamily at the male, causing his twin to chuckle teasingly. The Sensei picked a busty blonde to ask the first question.
"Ano, are you both, like, twins and stuff?"
Shiki gave her a deadpanned look which clearly said 'Are you fucking kidding?' But the girl seemed not to realise, either that or it just didn't affect her. "That's a stupid question, did you swap your brain for those things on your chest..."
The girl seemed to deflate at his response, even going red from embarrassment. Michiyo bit her lip to no doubt hold back a laugh, but the shine of mirth in her bright eyes betrayed her passive outlook. "Neee~ I'm sure she didn't mean it like that Nii-kun, she might have meant to ask if we were fraternal, hmmm~"
Another scoff was released by the taller twin. "Well, we're obviously not identical, so it's still an idiotic question..." Michiyo merely shrugged her shoulders, her way of casually letting the busty blonde know that she shared her twins view.
The aforementioned blonde sagged her head and refused to make eye contact with either of the twins. Sensei picked another female, this time a bonnie brunette with short bangs, but said absolutely nothing to the way the twins had handled the blonde's question.
"Where are you two from? You have slight accents."
Michiyo grinned, obviously happy with the brunettes choice of question. "Ah, well originally we are from right here in Japan! But my brothers and I have spent the last four years in the UK, so we're still adjusting back to our native language."
The petite brunette raised an eyebrow at this. "How come you were in the UK for so long."
Shiki was the one to answer this time. "...Obviously, our parents had work to do there, don't bother asking what, since its none of your business."
Gritting her teeth, but saying nothing the brunette allowed it to go.
Another girl shot her hand up, this one had her glittering sapphire eyes trained on Shiki but spoke to Michiyo, not once directing her gaze towards her, causing the ebony haired teen to scowl at her slightly in irritation. "Michiyo-chan you said 'brothers' do you have more? Are they all as handsome as Shiki-kun~"
Michiyo puffed out her cheeks at the gall of this sapphire eyed vixen, but quickly covered it up as she laced a perfect smile upon her diamond shaped face. "Heh, I have two other brothers, but neither of them would be interested in a girl like you~" she spoke in a sickly sweet voice, anyone who could overhear the conversation probably wouldn't of even been able to tell that she had insulted the girl, even the girl herself had taken a few seconds to go over the words Michiyo had used and not just the tone.
Upon realising the insult, the girl frowned in distaste, tearing away her gaze from the now amused Shiki to lock her sapphire eye's with the much lighter shade of Michiyo's liquid silvers. "And what exactly do you mean by that, Michiyo-chan." She spat out the ebony haired girls name as if it was made of something vile.
Michiyo closed her eyes sending the girl a friendly smile. "Nothing really~ They just wouldn't like a girl who doesn't even know common manners."
A scoff was heard as the other girl retorted. "I know my manners."
"Really?" Michiyo tilted her head to the side, light grey eyes staring directly into the other girls, unnerving her slightly. "What's my name, ne~"
The sapphire eyed girl shot her a mocking look. "Michiyo-chan."
Michiyo's smile curved into a smirk. "But we don't know each other~ You're being incredibly informal, disrespectful even."
Sapphire eyes widened in realisation as she tried to sprout some sort of excuse.
"Heh, she must think herself higher than others, thinks that she can do whatever she wants because she's generically attractive." Shiki's ice grey eyes made contact with shocked sapphire ones. "Shame that without all that make-up, you'd be nothing more than a common mutt."
A few students in the room sniggered, revealing that the sapphire eyed girl truly didn't have as many fans as she wished, she shot them all a glare before huffing in defeat.
The Sensei cleared his throat to rein in his class once again. "I believe that is quite enough questions, for now, you may both take your seats."
A/n: And that is the introduction to the Ikkiru twins; Michiyo and Shiki. Next chapter will reveal the other two Ikkiru siblings, and then things will get rolling!
