Prologue: Seiji's P.O.V

I felt my body give a sudden jolt as the sound of the alarm clock suddenly rang throughout the quiet room. Having been already half awake from the sunlight, I slowly sat up, rubbing my eyes. I could hear and feel my twin, Yuki, also sit up. I let out a mighty yawn, quite different from the silent one my sister gave as she stretched her back.

My eyebrow twitched as I realized that the alarm clock was still going off, so, with as much energy I could muster after just waking up, I grabbed the clock and hurled it at the wall. The loud, satisfying crunch it gave made me smile.

"Did you seriously just break the alarm clock again?" Yuki had asked, squinting her tired eyes at me in annoyance. My smile dropped as I faced her, blinking once before nodding. After letting out a sigh, she proceeded to scold me, "Seiji, that's the fourth one this month, we can't keep buying new ones just because you tend to break them when you don't want to get up."

I huffed and crossed my arms as Yuki stood up, getting ready to perform her daily morning routine, "It's not that I don't want to get up, I just don't like the sound."

Making her own side of the bed, Yuki spoke up, "Then just transfer some songs from your phone to the clock."

Blinking once again, I glanced over at the rectangular object lying innocently on my bedside table.

"...I can do that?"

Instead of answering with a plain 'yes', she went, "You're so technology retarded."

Ignoring the rude comment that I usually get on a daily basis, I glanced at my phone one more time.

Why didn't she tell me sooner?

I let out another huff before making my side of the bed and looking around for some clothes, considering our uniforms hadn't arrived yet.

Today was our first day at Ouran Academy, a school mainly known for the rich folk. However, our own commoner cousin, Haruhi Fujioka, had gotten in with a scholarship. Of course, since Haruhi was our cousin, that meant that we too weren't loaded with butt loads of money like all the other students, and so Yuki and I had also gotten scholarships. Yuki had gotten a science scholarship, and yours truly got in with an art scholarship.

As stated before, our uniforms weren't here yet, so that meant we got to wear whatever we wanted.

I smirked, going through my clothes and trying to decide on which look to go with. Most of my clothes were usually dark with patterns such as flowers or skulls on them, and other things were anime related clothing. However, I did have a small fetish for frills and skirts, so I did have the occasional girly outfit that wouldn't really match my personality.

I turned to Yuki, who was across the room, standing in front of her own mirror and already half way dressed. She had her dark jeans on and was in the middle of putting on a simple red tee.

I nearly scoffed at the boring clothes she chose. She wasn't always one for first impressions.

So then, figuring my sister would not be of any help considering she most likely didn't care, I turned back to my own clothes, and finally decided to go with something girly, just to come off as the nice and sweet new girl to everyone, and then when they least expect it, stab everyone in the back!

Just the thought of everyone's betrayed faces made me want to burst out into laughter already.

"Will you hurry up? We still have to eat breakfast." I pouted as my sister threw a sock at me, and if it weren't for the fact that it wasn't one that she was going to put on, I would have held it captive and forced her to beg on her knees before giving it back.

Instead, I tossed the sock somewhere else and grabbed the first pink thing I saw. A simple short sleeved pink tee with frills around the end, and then grabbed a thigh-length, white, pleated skirt. Decided that the skirt was too short, I added in some black stockings also, and finally, some white slip on shoes.

As I turned to put these items on, I caught Yuki staring at me weirdly.

"What?" I asked, seeing as she wasn't saying anything, even after I returned her weird look.

She stared some more before finally blinking and nodding in realization, as if she just came to a conclusion, "I see."

"Hm?" I tilted my head.

"Nothing, I just realized why you were putting on such girly clothing that you would usually only wear to parties or something." She muttered, looking disturbed as she thought on it some more, "You're really sadistic at times, you know?"

I blinked before a smile fell on my lips once again, a giddy one that barely contained my laughter, "Ahh, why thank you~."

Yuki twitched before looking away, and walked out into the hall and into the bathroom to get her hair and teeth done.

After I had finished getting dressed and also brushed my hair and teeth, we both made our way to our small kitchen to grab a quick breakfast. Again, we weren't as rich as everyone as that attended Ouran, so to put it simply, we had cherry flavored poptarts, along with a small glass of milk.

Ok, well, Yuki had milk. I had some orange soda considering milk usually makes my stomach hurt in the mornings and at night.

...Ok, and I'm just a lazy fat ass who loves orange soda.

We finished our drinks and figured we could finish our poptarts as we made our way to the school, so, dumping our glasses in the sink (not hard enough to break them, of course), we grabbed our school bags - them having oddly arrived before our uniforms - and made our way out the door.

Walking towards the school, I stretched my back, ear buds already plugged into my ears and blasting Rotten Girl, Grotesque Romance. Yuki had been watching the scenery peacefully, either in deep thought or just literally thinking about nothing.

But then suddenly, when we were already half way there, she spoke up, "This school year is gonna suck."

I nearly snorted, raising an eyebrow, "What makes you say that?"

She remained quiet for a bit, a blank, almost bored look on her face. And then finally, "I honestly don't know."
