It's A Mixed Up World

Chapter 1

A 15 year-old girl walked along a dusty path towards a Pokemon Center. She longed to lie in the crisply-made beds and just sit there and enjoy the sunny day. But, of course, she was on a journey. A journey, just to explore the world and train her pokemon, and relax. Something many called a vacation, but she called a resting time.

May had a full-time job as a pokemon co-ordinator, and hadn't had a break for her entire life. She'd never thought of having a vacation, as she loved her occupation dearly, and her pokemon as well. She'd been to every single region, and now she was in a new one that had just been discovered by some wacko professor.

It was the floral region. Called Flora for it's beautiful meadows of flowers spread throughout the land. There weren't many new pokemon there, but May still loved flowers. She lived up to her name; everything bloomed in May, and everything bloomed around the girl. She was a happy camper; as many would say, and everyone who met her was immediately in love.

Finally arriving at her destination after a few days of camping, May stopped by the check-in counter with Nurse Joy. She grinned before saying," I'd like a room, please!"

"Of course!" Nurse Joy replied in her sweet way. She handed her a room key and gestured to the elevator. "You're number 110. Have a nice day!"

May smiled again before walking into the elevator, finding her room, and collapsing onto the bed. Civilization. She loved it. May finally let out all her pokemon, a small collection of about four. She was training them in the region, and these were special pokemon.

There was Wolvering, a giant wolf with large fangs that hung over it's mouth like a saber-tooth tiger. It's fur was completely white, and its eyes were a peridot green. It was completely blind, yet used it's special earth powers to sense the world around it in a way nobody could. It was a new type of pokemon: an earth type. It had a series of earth moves that were special to it's kind. Whenever May was traveling, her pokemon were often by her side.

There was Koy, a fish with spectacular shining scales, and long flowing fins that dazzled it's opponents and stunned them for a moment. It looked like a Koi, but could breathe on land for quite a while.

There was Togekiss; a pokemon that May had found as an egg, and raised as her own pokemon. They communicated as one and loved each other dearly. It was almost as if Togekiss was May's other starter. She had brought Blaziken along too, it's fire attacks still growing stronger. There were but four pokemon in her team, but she planned to catch a few of the new ones native to the nation.

She relaxed in her bed, lounging and thinking of things long past. Soon, she was overcome by sweet dreams and fell asleep, thoughts of beautiful things dancing in her head.
