The Last Night

Sakura walked into the karaoke club with her boyfriend Gaara. She could see the cuts on his wrist that he tries to hide from her view. She sighed and looked at him worry evident in her vibrant green eyes he simply looked forward into the crowd as he was dragged to the stage by his pink haired beauty. She whispered some words to the DJ and grabbed two mics handing him one.

"Your singing with me." she demanded, nodding to the DJ the music started. With a deep breath she sung the words that would remind him of the night before. "You come to me, you wear scars on your wrist. You tell me this will be the last night feeling like this."

The words she sang brought the scars on his wrist to his attention and he tried to cover them again with the sleeve of his shirt looking away from her as he sang the part she left him with knowing this song by heart. He looked at her with sadness in his eyes, he was planning on leaving her. . . for good. Leaving everyone to get away from it all. He didn't want her to find out that she was dating a monster. . . a killer. No one but her loved him and he wasn't good enough for her love. It was time he ended it for good. "But I know it's a lie" He sang looking away from her and into the crowd."

She sang those words and looked him straight in the eyes grabbing his hand with a small smile, mouthing the words he needed to hear from her. Don't leave me. She gave him a pleading look and looked at him with nothing but love in her emerald orbs digging into his soul. As she kept singing. "This is the last night you'll spend alone. Look me in the eyes so I know you know." She almost whispered the words but the mic caught them sending them out to the audience. "I'm everywhere you want me to be. The last night you'll spend alone. I'll wrap you in my arms and I won't let go. I'm everything You need me to be"

She smiled and wrapped her arm around him, She had moved from her parents house into her own apartment and had just enough room for him to move in. She would get him out of that house even if it killed her. It wasn't a place he should be. . . his health was starting to worry her and the cuts were getting deeper each time she saw them. It was true, his mother didn't live threw child birth to meet her son. His father blamed him as if he purposely killed the woman who brought him into this world. Calling his son a monster and sending multiple people to kill the young teen enough was enough. He thought his face showing her his thoughts as he sang his small part laying his hand over his heart to ease the pain there. He sighed and looked at her, why was she doing this to him, didn't she know he went through enough at home with out her bringing it up? He knew he was a monster and a murderer a psychopath that was unworthy of love and unworthy of her.

She sang the last of the song before swinging her arms over his neck and kissing him tears stinging her eyes. "Please Gaara, Don't leave me. . . my life wouldn't be the same with out you." She sobbed into his shirt holding onto him for dear life making sure he didn't vanish. "I know you want out of that house. . . move in with me. I know your not a monster Gaara, I Know you didn't kill her. . . you need to stop blaming yourself. You need to stop letting your father make you believe her death was your fault, it wasn't Gaara, it couldn't have been." She sobbed looking up at him tears staining her perfect face leaving him speechless as he cupped her face with his hands his eyes seeming to melt into her gaze, He brushed her tears away with his thumbs.

"For you, my cherry blossom, I will stay." He said pulling her into a passionate kiss as the crowd burst into cheers.
