"Get up!"
Young Link picked him self the fourth time.
He was in the training area of Kokiri. He was also accompanied by the Great Mido. Link was a blue eyed ten year old boy with a stocky build and wore a green tunic and hood. Also wore brown leather boots and a belt of the same color. He was usually a quiet person around a lot of people.
Mido was a different person all together. He called himself leader of the Kokiri people. He was mean tempered and cocky all the time. He always found a way to hurt or embarrass Link in any way possible. Mido would never accept link as a Kokiri.
Mido had made Link go with him to the training arena and used him as a punching target.
"I said get up!" the bully yelled.
As Mido looked up from the pitiful form of Link, he saw a pretty girl coming towards him.
Mido suddenly put on a on what he thought what was a devilish smile and ruffled up his hair(he had no hood).
"Hey Saria. What are you doing up here?"
Saria ran past him and helped Link walk( Mido had been practicing his kicks too) out of the arena.
"Link! Are you okay?"
She shot a hateful glance at Mido.
"What did you do?" she said in a cold voice.
Mido tried to put on a picture of innocence.
"He got in my way, so I taught him what happens to people who do that," he replied lamely. "It was his fault."
"No it wasn't. You're a liar!" Saria shouted at him, her voice like ice.
By saying that she started down the hill with the limping Link by her side, leaving Mido muttering under his breath.
"How she came to like that wimp I'll never know."
(Later
When Saria arrived at Link's house (which is a tree house) she helped him up the ladder. When the pair went through the door, Saria made Link lie on his bed while she tended to the scratches on him that he received from the beating.
"That mido is so mean!" Saria said to herself.
"I know."
This startled Saria. She thought Link fell asleep, but merely just had his eyes closed.
"I dont know why he should be the boss around here. Nobody likes him." Link continued.
"He's just rich, that's all he is." Saria said bitterly.
"Now hold just a second. I'm almost done......there. Feel better?"
Link sat up and stretched. "I dont feel any pain at all. Thanks, Saria!"
"No problem. Now come on. There's still some daylight left. Lets go and have some fun."
