In a small town in Sirius island, near a bay where many adventures are had, aptly named Adventure Bay, there lived a rescue group known as the PAW Patrol. This group frequently aided the townsfolk with whatever issues they had on a day-to-day basis, sometimes going into different places to provide assistance there as well. They were well-known and well-loved by those they help. [As you would probably expect.]
They had been on many incredible adventures in their time, including saving an entire civilization of mer-pups, returning royal paraphernalia to a soon-to-be queen, and even gaining superpowers from a meteorite and battling evil with them. [That's all well and good, but it doesn't tell me who they are.]
The group consists of a German Shepherd named Chase, who is the strict and professional police dog and the law enforcer of the team; a not-so-sure-footed Dalmatian, Marshall, who is the firefighter and EMT; Skye, an energetic and bubbly Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix (cockapoo) performing the role of the aviator of the group; Rocky, an aquaphobic ecology mixed breed pup with the job of mechanic and recycling expert; a mellow and chill Chocolate Labrador named Zuma who serves as the diver and underwater rescue pup in the group; and Rubble, the second-youngest of the group, an English Bulldog who is the team's construction worker. They are also joined by Everest, an outdoorsy Siberian Husky who handles snow and mountain rescues; and Tracker, the youngest, a large-eared Potcake who lives in the jungle and aids in rescues there; and the The Expert, the newest member, a stoic but not unfeeling albino Burnese Mountain dog who is the team detective. Their missions are coordinated by a (unfortunately) human kid called Ryder. [It's almost like I was heard or something...]
Far away, in America, powerful and savvy beings known as the Crystal Gems lived. They protected the people of Earth in Beach City in Delmarva, a beach town (obviously) for several millennia, having insane adventures and going on amazing journeys as well. [Haha... obviously. Hahaha...]
The Crystal Gems of today are made up of: Garnet, the de facto leader, a tall, powerful and disciplined unarmed warrior; Amethyst, the short, brash and loud-mouthed Gem made on Earth itself; Pearl, the intellectual strategist and perfectionist of this team; and Steven, a young, energetic and optimistic half-human and half-Gem boy. [Well, at least now we know who is starring in this show.]
Unknown to both of these two teams, they were about to meet and embark on what could prove to be one of their greatest adventures of their lives. [Ooh, can't wait!]
