Vivi's shining golden orbs, so much alike to the Heartless' eyes that it was slightly frightening to the Keyblade master when he had first set eyes on him (1), watched the Struggle fight final for this year's Tournament: Hayner vs. Seifer. The foam bats swinging wildly at both blondes, red and blue orbs flying all over the stages, only to be gathered by the combatants once more as the time slowly dwindled away until the end of the match to determine the winner.
Vivi's eyes slowly travel back down to the concrete ground deep in thought about his life, or rather his personality and fighting abilities. He wasn't a strong one - that was for sure -for he was always being bullied by his own idol, Seifer Almasy (2).
He also wasn't brave, opting to shy away from confrontation when it reared up in his face rather than to swing the foam Struggle bat he practices with so much in the Tunnels of Twilight Town.
But one thing that could be said about the mysterious little child was that he could be very nice. He merely couldn't bring himself to say aloud a single rude and hurtful thoughtt meant for another. He wouldn't join into the verbal arguments that happened daily between Seifer's gang and Hayner's.
And he wouldn't say a thing to enrage Seifer, even thought the blue-green eyed boy would often vent his frustration and rage on him when he couldn't defeat Hayner. And that had been occurring more and more frequently it seemed over the past year.
With a small and soft sigh Vivi looks back up as the timer dings and Hayner is declared the victor. With a small whine the little golden-eyed boy fixes his odd hat upon his head knowing what was going to happen later…

(1)When I first saw the Heartless I immediately thought of Vivi from Final Fantasy IX, and then in KHII, voila! There he is in Twilight Town! And I must say, that if I saw a little kid with glowing yellow eyes like the Heartless' I'd be a little frightened, thus I put that in there.
(2)This is just what I'd expect Seifer to do, seeing as how they kept his personality pretty much the same when they transferred him from Final Fantasy VIII to KHII.
