Warmth - Frog and Toad
Toad was wet. He was shivering in his blanket.
"Are you all right?" Frog asked.
"No, I am not all right!" Toad said. "I am cold and wet."
Frog looked at the fire. It was very small. He stood up and poked at it. A few embers fell, sizzling, to the ground.
"Soon the fire will warm you up," Frog said.
"Maybe," said Toad. "Right now I am cold."
Frog poked at the fire again. A log fell. "Is that better, Toad?" he asked.
"No," Toad said.
Frog poked at the fire harder. It didn't get warmer.
"You will just have to wait," he said.
Toad looked miserable.
"I am sorry, Toad," said Frog.
