CWC: hey there, just thought I'd give you a heads up about why I'm not writing. This story has been bouncing around in my head for a while, so I decided to work on it a little bit. Enjoy this prequel!

Galloway stood arrogantly in front of the teen, arms crossed over his chest and a sneer plasted over his face. The teen seemed to ignore him, slouching slightly and examining her fingernails.
"What do you think you are doing here," Galloway demanded.
"Oh, just looking around," the girl replied, finally giving the liason some attention.
"Well, I don't care who your Autobot guardian is, we do not allow teenagers on this base. I will have to ask you to leave." The girl only grins.
"And if I say no?"
"Then I'll just have your over-sized metal babysitter remove you by force." She considers this for a minute, before standing up straight and looking Galloway in the eyes.
"There's just two problems with that," she says, giving him a sweet smile. "One, my guardian isn't an Autobot."
She allows that to sink in and smiles even wider at the trace of fear blooming in the man's eyes.
"And Two," she continues, her grin morphing to a deep scowl. "I don't need him to take care of an arrogant slug like you."
Galloway's face turns an interesting shade of red, and, not considering his actions, he leans forward and slaps the teenager. The girl recoils, shocked, and lifts a hand to her face. As she touches her tender skin, her scowl deepens. Not giving the startled liason time to react, she darts forward and punches him. A right hook, then a left, then an upper cut, and all followed by a devastating kick to the stomach. Galloway falls to the floor, gasping for air, as the girls stands over him.
"Be careful who you hit," she warns him coldly. "They might hit back."
She wipes a drop of blood from her split lip before turning on her heel and walking away.
