Smart
Is that all we are?
A forgotten house
With no true hero?
Do we fade into the background,
Like a pretty wall decoration?
We are more than Hufflepuff,
But so much less than Gryffindor
Or even Slytherin.
Because who needs wisdom
When you have courage?
Who needs wits
When you are cunning?
We are the thinkers,
The knowledgeable,
The open minded.
We are only a part of the machine that runs this world
I must admit,
But that doesn't mean it could go on without us.
Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure.
